Basic 28242 Assorted Tap Washers

These are nice and 'rubbery' not hard plastic like some - which I suspect wouldn't seal as well.

Purchased these Assorted Tap Washers to help cure a dripping tap. Unfortunately when I came to take the tap apart to fit the new washer what was shown on You Tube to be really easy and simple turn out to be otherwise. I should have realised that taps which are over twenty year old are not going to give in without a fight - they one. Age and Hard Water had completely welded the insides together. I never got to use the washers but they do look quality and a few different sizes too. They have been stored away in the plumbing tool box for another day.

I love these so much. I can use it as jewellery or to fix my leaking taps. So many uses! Would buy again.

An unspectacular and mundane item which wouldn't be an ideal present for the wife or girlfriend but which serves the intended purpose with no fuss or cause for high blood pressure.

Dripping tap fixed fast, mostly because I had the plumber instal an isolator so the washer instal was very easy.
