Vascobelo L’Empereur Beans 1KG

This is my second 1kg bag. I used it in my delonghi bean to cup machine and the flavour is gorgeous, no fancy tangs, just silky smooth taste cup after cup. I know some say it’s expensive but a 275G bag of beans will be £4 so it’s not too bad really. I keep meaning to try the le roir (think I spelled that right) beans but don’t want to be disappointed after having these.

By far my favourite coffee. Delicious in a French Press, Aeropress or Cafe Express (naturally ground differently). Multilayered tastes, delicious choice and combination of beans, roasted perfectly. I’ve tried many high quality beans over the months and keep coming back and buying more of this. Definitely recommended!

Hard to beat really. These beans are not as good as, say, Square Mile Red Brick, but they are miles cheaper and can be delivered via prime. They also are easier to use in standard equipment. At work we use red brick which on an expensive machine and it works fine but in my home machine (cheaper grinder - Eurka Mignone) it was hard to get a consistent shot. Not so with this coffee, and it tastes nearly as good.

My coffee grinder absolutely hated these beans it stopped grinding a few times; or took a Long time to get things ground.Loosening up the grind it was a bit better; but my grinder just didnt want to grind them into something i could make espresso with. I used about 80grams before giving up.

This is excellent coffee,it's impossible to drink the high street offerings after drinking L'empereur. We've tried different brands but come back to these every time

Had much better for slightly less money

Only just come across this brand - it's definitely worth a try. It's really difficult to find decent coffee for the office that everyone likes.. and everyone has their own preference. This is our latest attempt and I've got to say we're all very excited that we might have finally found a roast that we all agree on..We no longer fight over what coffee we buy - we now fight over who gets to open the bag and get the first inhale of the luxurious roast..

I now only ever buy these beans and rarely have a coffee from a shop - why would I when I can have far better coffee at home!
