TUDIA Merge, Dual Layer Case Designed for ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) (Matte Black)

It will come as no surprise that I bought this case for my Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe and it's a great case - it fits the phone well and feels good in the hand - in addition to this it doesn't add a huge amount of weight or bulk to the phone. One point to note is that unlike other cases, this one does not come with it's own integrated "cover"/screen protector although for me that is absolutely fine as I put my own aftermarket one on.I've seen some reviews that have reported that the cover is a bit too smooth and they wished it had more texture so it didn't slip in the hand - I haven't suffered from that problem although I don't use hand cream or moisturisers but can imagine that if this may be a problem if you used such products.The one thing that I have found during use of this product is that if you use other USB C cables other than the one supplied with this product, and the cable has a large "rim" surrounding the actual connector (as with the Anker USB C cables at the time of writing), then you might find you have a problem where the connector doesn't fit snugly to the phone - which may manifest itself as a power only connection and no data. This occurs because the case is hitting the side of the connector and can be resolved by either taking the case off, using a different cable or jiggling the cable so it connects properly.EDIT 15-JUL-17 The aftermarket USB C cable that I use with this device is the nylon braided one from iSPECLE - thoroughly recommended.
