I had to return the item, If you want ...
I had to return the item, If you want to use this to enable ARC on a non arc compatible amp or soundbar, then although it does pass the ARC audio via the optical port, in my case I lost CEC control of my AMP. The problem is that the CEC on the TV sees two devices on the HDMI and does not pass control signals. It does pass pwr on and off to connected devices.
