We bought this board because we are a homeschooling family with a need for a lot of during-the-school-day wiggle breaks. I have two children with learning differences and was encourage by our OT friend to consider a balance board for both fun and stimulating wiggle-breaks as well as balance/vestibular training for our ADHD brains. It has been a huge help for my kiddos when they need a break during a frustrating school day, or they want a fun activity inside on a hot day! Honestly, I expected this, based on my friends recommendation, and the many social media posts I've seen from families saying a balance board was a hit for their ADHD kiddo. What I did not expect was how fun it has been for our ENTIRE family. My other children- a gymnast and a basketball player- love the balance and strength exercise capabilities. My husband and I also enjoy using the board for core work and balance challenges. We are truly getting our moneys worth and if we had room to store them I'd order a few more. Lastly I was recently blown away by their customer service. After having some family visit (all the cousins wanted a chance on the board!) we found the line clip broken in pieces- I'm not even sure how it happened. I reported it via email to Gibbon customer service and received a reply that day! The clip was covered under warrantee - our board is less than a year old- and we received a new clip in the mail TODAY, less than one week after the email was sent. It was super easy to contact them, and their helpful online instructional videos allowed me to disassemble the board, replace the clip, and reassemble the board in minutes. I could not be more pleased with this company and this product. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

This GIBBON SlackBoard (GiBoard) has been an excellent addition to our home! We originally bought it because we have one child in gymnastics and another in ninja class, and it’s been a fun way for both of them to practice their balance, coordination, and core strength between classes. The board is sturdy, well-made, and feels very high quality. It was easy to set up, and the kids were excited to start using it right away. They love challenging each other with different balance exercises, and it’s become a regular part of their playtime. It’s also great because it gets them moving indoors on days when the weather isn’t ideal. It’s fun for adults too, so the whole family has enjoyed giving it a try. Overall, this is a fantastic product that’s durable, engaging, and a great way to build balance and stability. Highly recommend for active families!

I like this system for improving my balance. I use it in my home gym during sets. It was a lot harder than I was expecting, but persistence has paid off. Surprisingly addictive, meaning can I balance for longer and longer. Improves muscle control. I used to have balance ball system which I mastered very quickly and even did curls and shoulder press without a problem, needed something more taxing. Noticed my balance on the dirt bike has improved, and putting on socks and shoes standing on one leg all better, so I am pleased. Might seem trivial to some, but might save you from a bad fall?

Great quality, good size. It's holding up well to a 3 and 5 year old being on it after a month. We got the 1 strap. We just put it close to the back of the couch if they're too wobbly. But the 2 strap would be good for beginners for sure.

This thing’s been great. I purchased it for three year old granddaughter to start building balance and strength to get her on water ski. She likes to just stand on it and talk to me. Very intuitively just jumped on it first time she saw it. We did start with it next to a table so she could put one hand on the table to help stabilize yourself, but it didn’t take more than a day or two and she just stands on it now. I’m 52 years old and I started using it standing on it like I’m walking on a tight rope to build ankle strength and balance. It’s funny how some days I have great balance and other days not so great. Lol comes with an extra tool for tightening tension on the strap I weigh 175 pounds and it barely sag when I stand on it I’m not sure what the total maximum weight rating is, but I can definitely take adults.

This is fun, I wish there was a way to keep the tension higher as it becomes slack easily. I saw this on instagram and bought it and my family has enjoyed it. It is basically modeled after an archery bow which is pretty inspired. Occasionally it creaks loudly and I do wonder about it's longevity. We shall see.

It’s not only functional and fun, but beautifully made - not just utilitarian plastic. Seems to be of high quality and sturdy. Quite difficult and challenging, but also fun.

Quality slack-line practice board for practicing balance. Be aware, this is more taut than a true slack-line, nevertheless, it's still worthwhile.

Fantastic I love this board

We received our board the next day and it was an immediate hit with 4 generations grand kids, kid, mom and grand ma. Perfect tool to get ready for the snowboarding and ski season. Helps to build balance and ankle strenght. We started doing family contests of number of rebounds in a row. I also use it under my standing desk and its really fun and helps to keep legs active and blood flowing from all day standing.
