It looked fantastic in every way, l loved the polished bamboo and the s. s door with cut out key shape. Un wrapped it still perfect. Then l made the big mistake 'l touched the door' with out thinking' to gloat. And there all of a sudden were my finger prints, everytime l touched. Panic set in, stepping back and then thinking what's next. Putting it up. So out came gloves, simple to mount if you have a screwdriver and spirit level.Then l had to think about cleaning up my fingers prints so l tried CIF which worked a treat. Now all l need is a small hand knob to fix to the door so that l don't touch it with my fingers. Stylish key box which looks awesome.

I was a little concerned about the stainless steel finish of this, especially given some of the comments from reviews. The first key cupboard that arrived I returned as there were some rust spots on the cover. I decided to order it again because I really liked the look of the product and couldn’t find anything similar for a good price. The cover was easily ‘marked’ with fingerprints and smears whilst I was fixing the key box to the wall.However I’ve wiped the cover with a lightly dampened cloth which removed fingerprints and marks. I then use stainless steel spray (which I use on my stainless steel waste bin , fridge door etc) to give it protective gloss finish, it buffed up beautifully with a soft cloth. The cover is shiny and clean and has retained a good finish whilst being used. I guess I’ll do this periodically to maintain the good look. It is easily fixed to the wall with two screws but I chose to use command strips to fix it.The magnetic catch is very strong and as one other reviewer mentioned it can clang when shutting. As this is in my utility room it doesn’t really matter, but for ease of use I put a small square of felt on the magnet so it doesn’t work on the door I just push close. It holds 8 large keys or a bunch of 3/4 keys on each hook. It is an excellent product for the price and I would definitely buy it again.

This I bought to match my kitchen and it does fit in so well with everything and to keep all my keys neatly tucked away. It Looks good, well made, smart and easy to open with plenty of room for all your household keys. I recommend this item.

Wood is Bamboo. Hinges very low quality badly fitted to case and flimsy. It seems like an item made in the East, given a German persona to imbue quality and an inflated price tag. You're better than this Amazon. Disappointed.Update after 24hrs: The card box is better made than the keybox. Hinges needed re-aligning. Door key motif stamped out which gives a smooth finish on the top side and a slight burr to the underside, which would be ok if the underside had been used as the inside of the door. Which it wasn't. I added a pvc strip to the right hand edge to indicate handed opening. Hooks inside needed prizing open before use.

Looks stylish on wall next to front door and room for lots of keys. Need to be careful not to knock other keys off when removing bulky ones like car keys. Otherwise does a grand job no more unsightly bunches of keys lying around plus we can always find them! Very pleased with product.

Easy to fix, could probably have done with 2 as we have so many keys, looks great

Arrived a bit scratched on the front. Ok quality but I'd say a bit expensive for what it is. Key hooks useless...had to add different hooks to almost all keys to be able to get them to hang.Does look quite nice.Would have returned normally but couldn't he bothered...it's a key box and once keys were adapted it works.

Looks are the strong suit of this small-ish (8-hook) key cupboard. Our kitchen features a lot of wood and stainless steel, and I was unable to find anything else that was even close to looking this good in that environment. The inside seems strongly made, and it was easy to install with two mounting holes and screws and rawlplugs provided.The big problem was that the door closed at a significant angle to the back, due to one of the hinge arms being shorter than the other. I solved this by inserting 3mm spacers under one hinge mount, but that should surely have been caught be even the most cursory QA during manufacture.Note that I did not experience the issue of the door hitting the wall when opened as reported in other reviews.
