Expensive but useful and good in quality

I have used this stand for my ipad as there no other product as stand for ipad , as of now it is good . Lets see the durability

It's light, installs easy and works well. But the pricing is a bit high.Things to look out for :1. It installs only 1 way. If you flip it, the angle on the feet goes all wrong. So check which way it goes before peeling off the paper on the tape.2. The stand may cover a portion of the exhaust vents but thin enough to not cover all of it. You gotta install it as close to the edge with the hinge as possible for best support.Not sure how durable these things are. Will update on that if these fail too early. I got two of them.

I was looking for this product for so many years. I used a Nintento Wii U charging base, books, and other objects to create a sloping height for my laptop. I found this in the new product section a week back and recieved it today. The concept is almost perfect. Product is strong and sturdy and creates two angles. The width of the base also is just perfect so that it wont block the battery compartment. I am extremely happy with this concept and execution. I have searched and struggled for 20 years for such a simple and cost effective solution to prop the laptop. The only con I see is: 1. It uses glue stickers. So if you change the laptop, you may have to buy one more, or remove this using heat, and use new ahdhesives. Given the cost of the product, you can keep buying this whenever you buy a new laptop. So its really not an issue but thought of mentioning it. The product manual is in Chinese! Thanks for the seller. Absolute gem of a product.

Was really interested in the metal version, but purchased this plastic model based on user answers on Amazon. Been using for a few weeks, extremely satisfied so far. Computer, macbook pro 13.Tips: select the site of application very carefully. When I first applied, laptop lost its fine balance and I couldn't open it with one hand which is a feature I couldn't let go. Removing the stand was really difficult. But applied it again using 3M double sided tape, closer to the edge this time, and it was fine. So apply as close to the far edge without blocking any vents you can see.Note: No silicon pads provided with this plastic version. Affects the grip of the laptop a bit, but I actually found it comfortable to move and turn around laptop on the table.The angles of both the 'gears' are apt. Has improved the cooling also considerably, which is the prime reason why I purchased this.
