The book covered a variety of things about JavaScript that you will usually not find in some other places. Also, being a beginner in JS hacking, it helps build some momentum

The content is just fine, but the size/design of the physical book is terrible
The content is fine, easy to read and with examples.BUT OMG the design of the book is terrible. It's a really big book, hard to read with a single hand, even with two hands. It's a thin one so it turns to bend when you read it. If you are reading and using the computer to practice, you really need a good space just to put the book next to you. It's a really short book (less than 90 pages) with big font spaces, so it does not go too deep into the topics.I expected a better product for the price of the book.

Learn script injection FAST and all the tricks to leave the browser... dizzy?
If you want to quickly learn the latest tricks/techniques for client-side script injection don't hesitate and get this book immediately. It takes a bit of time to understand the concepts, but you can totally read the book in a day and grasp most of the ideas to either attack your enemies (including your mother in law) or to protect your website/backend. It has specifics for Node but IMO, the book is oriented to the browser hacker. And I loved it!The content is not for somebody who wants to learn JavaScript. Not a coding book at all. It assumes that you already know JS but you want to catch up with the latest tricks and techniques mostly oriented to script injection. It's short, clear, with no fluff. If you already follow Gareth on Twitter, Mastodon you know exactly what you can expect from this book: elegance, mind bending code, and no fluff. The chapter that I liked most was the fuzzing one. I'm not speaking about fuzzing for memory corruption bugs but fuzzing to find specific ways (chars) to make code injection possible where it seemed impossible. You will learn how to confuse the browser and interpret unexpected things.A message to the author: Gareth, thanks for putting so much content here. I learned several tricks and enjoyed your book.A message to my mother in love: it was just a joke! =)
