Got this to take out the dog at night and keep an eye on him. Works great also use it to see my patterns for stainedglass the extra light helps with cutting patterns.

Cheap compared 2 real SPEC OPS
It's good 4 a price compare 2 a real one which will cost over $200. So it's 6X cheaper. I will post after Airsoft Nation @ SC Village. If it survived and how effective it was during 🌃 event.

This bump mil ID IR light is nearly as good as the expensive ones out there..
I'm completely satisfied with this light. It has all the functionality of the ones used by paratroopers and halo jumpers and is extraordinarily bright for easy visibility in heavy clouds or at night over 1000 yds apart under a chute. I haven't tested it's ability to hold up in super wet conditions yet but I'm pretty sure it's going to shine there too.

Infrared was the key and it delivered.
For airsoft/hobby/training use, a good buy. The critical point for me was if the infrared leds were legit. They are. The color LEDs are reasonably bright without being too much. The unit has ok battery life and build quality, especially for the price. Even came in a hard case with foam to keep it safe when not in use. Props to the manufacturer on that. It doesn't seem water proof but I didn't test it via submersion. It did handle some rain ok, though. I'd be careful with rain. All in all, will buy this one again if I need to.

It’s no Helstar, and that’s ok.
The media could not be loaded. It works as advertised. The IR modes work and are quite noticeable under NV. The visible mode could be useful for a civilian SAR application as well, or maybe as IFF for an airsoft game or something. Unclear how it will hold up to the elements but some sealant in the right places will take care of that. For the price point, it’s a great alternative for the weekend LARPer, or anyone who can’t justify shelling out $200 for the real thing.

DO NOT BUY
So before anything, I know its my fault for buying a cheap product. I bought this with the soul intention to buy a cheaper strobe light for my helmet. But the strobe literally only flashes blue. There is no switch to change the colors or even swap it to IR. Its false advertisement and I wouldn't ever buy again.
