CCNA Routing and Switching Portable Command Guide

This book is seriously handy, its both a portable command guide and also explains the protocols and sections of the ccna course which really helps when you have not done any networking in a long time. Anyone with a technical methodical mind can pick this up and easily configure everything that is required for a small to medium sized network. Definitely worth the money.

Really good book, which has lots of commands which are essential for ccna, along with some useful extras. Just a slight shame there's no VOIP in here, but apart from that it is a must have book worth a buy if your using cisco equipment

Good practical guide to Cisco CCNA commands. The more you use the commands , then they become automatic when performing a task. You just recollect and type out the command. A must buy for those studying CCNA .

A life saver for my Degree course (BSc Network Technology). Note that this is a list of all the commands you can use, NOT an instruction guide. You need to know what commands you'll require and to know what you're doing on Cisco kit before hand.

Very usefull for day to day work. I work in the telecommunication company and often times i have to configure devices...and i always forget commands :) .....quick handy book for command reference.

As an Instructor this book has assisted my students to efficiently and effectively complete labs and prepare for their exams. This is a high recommend from professionals and students alike.

This book does not go over the inner workings of everything. It gives defined lists of commands used to do specific jobs and the main ideas of operation, troubleshooting, & configuration. It also have plenty of examples, with configurations & network diagrams, so you can configure and test out the configs. It is a great reference book, especially if you are looking at certification & can't recall specific commands but also if you just need a memory boost. It covers IPv4 subnetting, CLI, IPv6 commands, Admin & Troubleshooting, IP Services, WANs, and all the basic commands for routing & switching. There is also a great trick in the "How to Subnet" section called "The Enhanced Bob Maneuver". It can easily be used to determine number of subnets & hosts and can be extended to be useful for VLSM. It's small & easy to remember too, which is great! I'm glad I bought this book & highly recommend it as a great reference for the basics of Cisco networking & for assisting when you are working on the CCNA.
