The Irony of Democracy: An Uncommon Introduction to American Politics 16th Edition

This book is a required textbook for my political science course, so please read this review with that in mind. I found the perspective the author took on the way our government works interesting and unique, but a little dark. I give it three stars because I found the writing boring and tedious to read. I find the subject of political science interesting, but this book was very dry. If you have to read it, there are helpful summaries at the end of each chapter which I recommend looking at.

Really good book for Poli Sci

But it justifiies and elite class runing our lives no matter because it must be or something. I had to read it for class but would never pick this book to read on my own but I dont' feel it represents the true meaning of America.

This book has a lot of information. It is presented fairly well, and makes a lot of great arguments. But I find the Kindle version very hard to navigate.

Returned book because my son no longer needed it.
