With a decent mask (like Big Eyes) this is a way superior set-up than any "full face snorkel mask". This snorkel is well made and does the job. It breathes very freely (unlike the Full Face set-up) and the shut-off valve works very well when diving beneath the surface. The snorkel clips very conveniently to the mask strap and the flexible lower section allows it to be "spat out" when not needed whilst still being retained. Can't compare with other snorkels as I have not tried others. I have only tried the "Full Face Mask type" which I found so difficult to breathe even at very moderate exertion. They also make your face really hot as the heat of expelled breath builds up in the mask as there is no way to dissipate it. So my advice, get a conventional snorkel and decent mask and this snorkel is very good.

This is good and comfortable to wear … mouthpiece is replaceable and clear all water ingress with a good hard blow.

I’m really torn about this snorkel. BENEFITS: The value for money is great, it feels well made with high quality materials, it is comfortable to wear for prolonged periods, it looks professional especially when paired with a Cressi mask. The connection to the mask is secure and it is comfortable to wear for long periods like I do which is great. The diameter or the snorkel is large which makes breathing easy. PROBLEMS: My one big problem with this snorkel is that the valve which closes when either you dive or it is submerged from a wave has a tendency to stick meaning you have to either exhale deeply to blow it open OR you have to take it out your mouth which is a pain. Overall I would definitely recommend this snorkel for use in calmer waters but if you enjoy free diving under the water like me I would recommend getting another one.

Will last one or two seasons in sea water, without turning yellow, or hardening . Holds well to below 12 metres depth, but eventually, the purge membrane fails, when exposed to such pressures repeatedly, around 7.5metres seems to be the limit for prolonged exposure.

Excellent at keeping the water out of my snorkel and very comfortable in the mouth. I had bitten through my previous snorkel in just 6 weeks (user error sure) but this one has lasted me 6+ months so far and I love it! It also has a convenient clip to easily remove from mask for cleaning and drying.

Terrible bought this for my holiday, water is leaking into the bottom valve, return window closed

Used for snorkelling for a week in rather calm sea. The lid works well in most cases, to prevent water from accidentally getting in when I stick my head a bit deeper. It only doesn't work if the snorkel is near horizontal. The purge valve also works very well at clearing water with a sharp blow. An important element for me was drag when diving. My previous snorkel was a pain. This one is great, makes itself unnoticeable. Tip: The lid often does not re-open automatically. So make sure you always have a bit of breath left when resurfacing to blow it open.

Just took for a week of snorkelling. Really impressive. Just need to find out how to get gravelly beach stones out of the one way mouth drain valve…

Acheté juste avant de partir en vacances, je ne l'ai testé qu'une fois arrivé sur place et j'ai été vraiment surpris. Pur débutant en snorkeling j'étais vraiment à l'aise avec ce tuba. En effet, même avec des grosses vagues qui passent au dessus de la tête l'eau ne rentre pas. Agréable à porter, je recommande cet article.

Great snorkel with very high quality and value

Mi sono trovato molto bene con questo snorkel. - È lungo e comodo da usare. - La valvola dry funziona bene: non entra acqua, nemmeno durante le immersioni, e si chiude perfettamente. - La valvola di scarico sul fondo è molto comoda e permette di far uscire l’acqua facilmente senza sforzo. - Esteticamente molto bello, ottima combinazione di colori giallo/nero. Unico punto da considerare: non lo consiglio ai principianti, perché può capitare che la valvola resti chiusa dopo l’immersione e bisogna dare un colpo d’aria per sbloccarla. Nel complesso un ottimo prodotto per chi fa snorkeling o apnea e vuole uno snorkel di qualità.
