Great item and packaging
Yes the rod is great but we all have our preferences. I wanted to touch on the service. Many of us have received damaged and poorly packaged items (rods especially) but that wasn’t the case here. This item wasn’t “Prime eligible” but that worked out since you can avoid the horror stories of rod shipping. I paid for shipping but it also 1) came directly from the manufacturer 2) came in a sturdy rod tube 3) the rod was in an included rod sock which was also wrapped within plastic wrap and additional bubble wrap at the tip 4) the item was undamaged and 5) while it wasn’t prime, I still went from placing my order to “in my hands” in 3 days (even with a 2 week delivery estimate). If you’re on the fence about ordering a rod online, I can say it was more beneficial ordering directly from Favorite.

It is my Favorite now!
I absolutely love this rod. Favorite is a perfect name for it. Casts amazingly well responds amazing also. Paired it with a Kastking speed demon and the pair works perfectly.

My feelings are hurting !
Been fishing with this rod a couple of times. Never hooked on to anything big a couple of catfish (Graff top). This past weekend end just set the hook and snap! Embarrassing! I've had it happen before but that's when i was spending $59 - $64.99 on rods. Close to losing a customer .... If contacted, I will be giving an update until then I would not purchase. Sad Man !

The action was just as advertised
Rod came fast and packaged well. Its light and the action was just what I wanted. The only reason for the 3 star review is because the line guides were not in line with each other so I had to straighten them by hand. I heard a cracked while straightening one of them. There were also white scuff marks in several places that stood out on the black rod. I've used the rod to catch many fish and actually caught a (pb) giant smallmouth with it yesterday. I am fairly pleased with the rod and will continue using it
