Bright. Well built
I recently purchased the KingLED 2022 Newest Upgraded KM1000 LED Grow Light, and I must say it's an impressive piece of equipment, though I encountered a minor hiccup. I'd rate it at 4.5 stars.I primarily use this light as supplemental lighting for my mango tree during the winter months when it's indoors. The brightness is remarkable, almost to the point where I unintentionally harmed my tree by burning its leaves, even with the brightness set to just 50%.Aside from the intensity, this grow light appears to be built with quality in mind. It feels sturdy and well-constructed.If you're in need of a powerful grow light for your indoor plants, especially if you're dealing with light-hungry specimens like my mango tree, the KingLED KM1000 is a strong contender. Just be cautious with its brightness, as it can be quite potent even at lower settings.

KingLED makes fraudulent claims.
Before starting I would like to say that I emailed KingLED about each of these issues and despite their 12 hour response policy I revived no response at all from them."if you have any questions, please contact us at any time, and we will reply within 12 hours and give you a satisfactory result."Fraudulent claim #1,"Upgraded KM series add dimming button and daisy chain"There is NO daisy chain functionality.#2 "all products adopt high-level waterproof design (IP67)"The power supply has only the most rudimentary splash-proofing and in no way is compliant with IP67 waterproofing.#3, #4 "Contain white, blue, red and IR"There are at least 2 fraudulent claims here. There are only 2 different color LEDs on this light. 320 4000k LEDs and 16 red LEDs. NO 3000k LEDs, NO 5000k LEDs NO 730nm LEDs as show in their graphic..#5 "UL power supply,"I specifically asked about this in my email to KingLED. There is no markings whatsoever to indicate this power supply is UL listed. I received no response from KingLED when I asked about the UL 'E' number for this power supply so I could verify UL listing.Bottom line? With only 2 types of LED ( instead of the advertised 4 ) this light is more suited to duty as a reading lamp than a plant growing lamp.

Pay Attention to the spec sheet
I think the product listing oversold the quality of this light a bit. It does have a nice heat sink, and the dimmer works well. This light would be ok to veg a 2x2, or flower like 1.5x1.5, maybe one plant. The spec sheet says the light draws 105 watts, it drew 100 even on my kill-o-watt meter, not terrible assuming the buyer knows they are buying a 100 watt light. This light uses Samsung LM281B LEDS which are older tech and less efficient than the 301Bs better light makers are using now, but there are 320 4000K LEDs and 16 red 660nm LEDs on this light. So they are using cheaper LEDs than modern lights, but they are using more of them than most 100w lights you see on Amazon. People grew plants under lights with 281Bs in them 5-6 years ago when those LEDs were state of the art, and you can still use them to grow with, you just need to be informed of what you can actually do with the light as opposed to some of the claims made about it.Decent light for what it is. Fine for one plant, or using in your plant nursery with the dimmer. You could use 3-4 of these to veg and flower in a 3x3, but if I were going to spend $200+ on lights I’d look at something better with 301Bs in it. For $50-60 on Amazon with free shipping this light isn’t horrible.
