Attractive sheen, blend-able, affordable.
It was more affordable than the leading brand. It blended well and had an attractive sheen to it. It was easy to layer and a little went a long way. I used it for a blank Funko Pop gift as using model paint was recommended more than a general acrylic paint due to not cracking. The colours were strong and I could dilute it for a more matt finish if required. I would buy more from this range.

Good starter set
Bought these to compliment a citadel starter set I was given that was missing some colours. I also wanted to try out dropper bottles. Generally good, although some colours better than others. The dark flesh shade seems a bit orange, and the blue isn't great on my wet pallete, but I probably need to mix it better. I like the dropper bottles as citadel pots fall over whenever possible! Will be buying more

Good paints
Bought these to get back into model painting after painting games workshop models as a kid. Used them for paining some railway models, really easy to work with, better to thin them with a little water first I found but dries well and were a really nice colour. Well known reputable brand

Great Value
A good base set of colours for any model makers palette, I used these for a university project and had no issues at all. Long lasting and can be used again way after opening providing they are stored well.

I sell hand-painted figurines, so paint is the most important aspect of my small business, i have been ising brusto fluids(great paint) but its coverage is not uo to the mark (understandable as they are not made for model painting) I had heard legendary stories about Vallejo paint, and had to give it a try once, and the very forst thing i noticed is it has excellent coverage, one single coat is enough for base painting (use to do 3 coats with brusto). The skin tone that came with this set (dark skin) isnt that great, a misture of burnt sienna and unbleached titanium (brusto) gives far better skin tone, but in all this is an amazing paint. Its a must have for anyone who does miniature/figurine painting as it will drastically decrease the painting time. Do note, these paint are not made to be directly used in airbrush, they have vallejo air for that, if you do want to use it in airbrush, then use either liqutex airbrush medium or liqutes ink (to avoid loss of saturation). Delivery took 2 months else would have given 5 stars.

I got this mostly because it included silver, I was finishing a 3/4" scale flying model (yes you can use acrylics on tissue, just be careful) of an experimental Navy monoplane fighter from the 1930's and my jar of Model Master Aluminum was running low. There were other colors I will have a use for on other projects and it was less costly than just buying a single bottle, so... Vallejo paints are good quality, but they're not as opaque as they could be. Also if moisture or handling will be an issue you'll want to clear-coat; I used Model Master acrylic with an airbrush and am thinking of trying Minwax Polycrylic varnish.
