Surprisingly effective
Love these pads. It will not make it silent but it drops the sound quite a bit. Unless tou get a practice pad by itself then i recommend these.

Almost there (full drum set suggestion)
I set up an acoustic drum set for my son in the basement, and was way too loud for my wife. The sounds reverberated through the whole house. I was desperate to to damper not only the toms, kick and snare but the also the cymbals were killing us. I got a set of Eastrock Drum mute pads that included cymbal mutes. They were great for the toms and even the kick but the snare and cymbal dampeners left much to be desired. The cymbal pads made the cymbals sound clanky and totally took the dynamics out of the cymbals. I saw a set of Low Volume Cymbal Pack Mute Cymbal Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FT13ZMD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 but was very skeptical for the $60 price. I figured they would sound terrible and damage quickly. To my surprise they sounded great! I prefer them to our Zildjian ZBT set we have. Nice sizzle and dynamics at half the noise level. We also paired them with a set of Adoro Silent Sticks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094YJ9SCG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and we are very pleased. As far as the snare goes, my son just covers with a t shirt and it really helps the volume with sacrificing the feel. Still working on this and will update if I find a good solution. I'm hoping these pads will last! I paid about $136 for all three (pad, Mute cymbals and silent sticks) and was money well spent. Get the combo, you won't be disappointed!

Much Better than Hard Rubber Mute Pads
These are really nice. The ones I owned before were hard rubber but these from Eastrock are actually a neoprene material and much better than the hard rubber ones. The cheaper versions can easily mar the drum heads but these neoprene mute pads from Eastrock will definitely not mar or damage the drum heads at all. Bonus- you get a set of sticks in the package too. These are really easy to set up. If you live in an apartment complex or have neighbors close by like we do, you need something like this and maybe even quiet/ silent cymbals also. These don’t bounce on the drum heads and there’s some adhesive for the bass pedal and some holes to pin the mute pads to the cymbals. They’re about 1/8” thick and provide enough coverage and also have some decent rebound. The cheap rubber ones had the worst dead thud to them on top of marring the heads and these do not do that. I do see a bit of bounce on the floor tom if you strike it too hard, otherwise they stay in place fairly well.

Less complaints from neighbors!
Are you a drummer? Do your pesky neighbors keep complaining that you are interrupting their sleep while you’re trying to rock out to your favorite jams? Worry no more! These mutes have a great grip and mute the drums without sacrificing too much tone. I do wish it allowed a bit more resonance from the cymbals, but these things still work great. They suprised me for as cheap as they are. Takes maybe 2 minutes to get set up and the bulk of that time is just removing wing nuts from the cymbals! Great investment

OK product, issues with sitting flat
Pads work at muffling sounds, however, fitment is not great as the pads I received tend to curl and then slide off the drums while they're being played. Not a problem for the snare drum or floor Tom, since they sit flatter but more problematic with the rack toms at an angle.

Could be great, but the pack was wrong from the start. Lack of customer service help.
I bought these for my son to help reduce the over all volume. I would say they are effective with that, but unfortunately, the pack was incorrect and did not have one for the smaller tom. It also had an extra 12 inch pad. They cymbal pads are oversized and flop around. The result is no sound other than the immediate attack of the stick hitting the pad. This is a bummer because it is the primary reason I bought the pack. The only mute that we were able to effectvely use is the kick drum, which is very effective. The mutes for the drums would be effective, it's just the fact not all drums have fitting pads, so it makes it unusable. I suppose I could cut one of the 12 inch pads down to fit the 10 inch Tom, but I don't feel I should have to. Unfortunately my son got right ito them after Chrostmas and I don't feel a return or exchange through the store is appropriate. This leads me to the primary reason I am giving a 1 star review. I contacted the company through their contact info on their website. The email address they provided to contact them. I had hoped to exchange the extra 12 inch pads for the appropriate 10 inch pad that should have came. Google informed me that my email was undeliverable because of an error with their domain. It appears to be an invalid email & domain. I would still be willing to swap the pads for the correct one, but right now I feel I am stuck with pads and enssentially paid near $40 for a pack that will be unused aside from drum sticks and kick drum mute. Some specifics. The material is basicly the same as a standard mouse pad. They seem built well. Pricing would be fair if the correct pads were included. Even if the cymbal pads were unusable, if all the drums could be muted, the money for the drum mutes & 2 pairs of sticks would be fair. But for roughly $40, you do get 5 drum mutes & 3 cymbal mutes, plus 2 pairs of sticks, as well as a snare dampner, which I find to be too effective. Perhaps if the snare was adjusted, it could be used and be effective, while retaining the characteristic snare sound. It's alot of value for $40, if your pack is correct. The snare pad stays in place well. The other pads do not stick well. They slide around. Same with the cymbal pads. Look is accurate to how it is advertised. If it had come in the correct sizes, I would have given it a higher star review. I would have given a high star review if the company had been able to be contacted. Perhaps the low review will flag their attention & the situation can be resolved. If so, or anything changes, I will update my review.

Excellent
Very good and perfect for my drums. It mutes the sound so well so my family doesn't get annoyed by my playing. Very very good quality and well-made.

Mute well but quality is questionable. Too thin.
They do mute the drums okay however they are very thin and light. You get what you pay for. Be prepared to use gaffers tape to keep them in place. They were shipped rolled up so keep some heavy books handy to flatten out. May take several days. Would recommend a different product if you plan to practice daily. Not certain how long they will hold up to a heavy handed drummer.
