Le Creuset ecological cleaner and protector for enamelled cast iron cooking utensils, 250 ml, 71039

After the first use of my Le Creuset casserole, I manage to leave marks in the base of the pot. I try soaking and gently boiling white vinegar to no avail. I was also cautious about not using anything too abrasive. However, this arrived today and after applying in circular motions with a damp piece of sturdy kitchen town the marks came out almost instantaneously. Should have taken a before and after! This product is expensive (like all Le Creuset) but very happy with the purchase.

I bought some used le creuset and while they were in good condition, they do have some stains in them from years of use so gave this a go on advice from a friend with the same pots and I have to say, this is amazing. Takes some serious time, effort and elbow grease but I'm impressed! Regular use should get them all back into perfect condition.

Works very well to clean even stubborn stains, once you have used it you will it is easy to keep your pans looking pristine.

I like to have my Le Creuset collection looking brand new so usually take good care of mine however I accidentally scraped my meringue oval coloured casserole dish with metal at my kitchen sink area and was distraught. The scratch looked like a pencil mark in colour. 24hours later, after purchasing this, the scratch mark was rubbed off within seconds. There was also some slight stain I could see of the meal I cooked the night before, no also gone. I am so overjoyed with this purchase. Worth every penny. It has a smell to it, be sure to rinse well.

Wow, I cannot believe the results. A little bit of elbow grease and my Le Creuset casserole dish is looking as good as new! Worked like magic on some very old and baked in stains. So pleased. It’s very expensive, but a little goes a long way so will last a very long time.

This pretty much did nothing either to the inside or outside of my 23yo Le Creuset. I'd burnt on some rice and had got most of the baked on crust off with elbow grease (a lot of elbow grease) and hoped this would shift the last black bits. It did turn beige with rubbing in so presumably removed something but there was no discernable difference before and after (after shot added to give an idea of what it won't shift). I gave it two goes and had a little scrub with a non-scratch sponge. Made no difference to burnt on splashes on lid at all either. I wasn't expecting it to restore the finish to factory settings but for the hefty price tag, it's effectiveness is utterly woeful. Better to use the money to save for a new one.

Typical Le Creuset product, very expensive. Did give a fresh after clean, have to dry wipe, did not work with water. Clean most of stain but defo not all.

Ce produit est tout simplement bluffant sur les résidus, j’ai l’habitude de nettoyer ma cocotte sans souci mais pas aussi rapidement qu’avec ce denier. Je voulais essayer car je n’en entendu que du bien, chose faite et je ne suis pas déçue du tout !

Strongly advised: the only way to really get rid of food remains (stains) on the Le Creuset pan. I usually spread a little quantity of the polish cream and let it there for one night. The day after I add some drops of water (as the cream dries up during the night) and brush intensely (with two hands) with the Le Creuset nylon brush, for some good 5 minutes. Back and forth, a few centimeters, not in circles, applying as much pressure as you can (important, at least that’s how I do it). You won’t damage the pan, don’t worry. This way it becomes completely clean with no remaining stains. Don’t even try other products (I did): go for these, a little investment, but totally worth the result.

The Le Crueset cast iron cookware cleaner does a beautiful job in cleaning cast iron pans. It may seem pricey, but if you’ve invested in a LeCrueset pan, it’s worth taking care of it to make it last. It only takes a small amount of this cleaner, and the pan comes out with than like new shine. The bottom is smooth and you’ll be back to no sticking like before. It has great cleaning power because it contains essential oils but no harsh chemicals or scrubbers.
