This was bought as a gift for our turtle loving son who was home for a visit. Sadly, thanks to the hot weather he turned down hot drinks each time they were offered. Understandable I suppose. Sunday morning, my last chance to surprise him with it and it was the morning after a night of heavy drinking, we were all feeling more than a little worse for wear. Eventually he staggered down the stairs, wincing with each tentative step. I dragged myself up off the sofa where I had collapsed an hour earlier. I knew this was my last chance to 'surprise' him with the mug so I valiantly 'rushed' to the kitchen. "Morning... how you feeling?" I enquired brightly, my head throbbing with each word. "Ughh, mm k" He grunted whilst wincing. "i'm fine! Been up a while! You youngsters are lightweights" I lied whilst bravely masking the inner pain. "Want a coffee?" "urghmm yuh ghhm" he slowly replied before walking off to the garden to indulge his nicotine addiction. I quickly whipped out the mug and made the coffee. Proper coffee, I love coffee, sadly it does not love me though, so, I decided years ago, if i'm going to make myself ill drinking it then it should at least be a decent coffee and worth the pain. So, invested in a decent espresso machine. I staggered to the back door, clutching the innocuous looking mug in my hands. Outside i could hear voices. "Yeah, your Mum collapsed on the sofa as soon as she got up and just lay there groaning for at least an hour" My darling Husband was informing our son. Bugger. Busted. Luckily the sight of coffee distracted the boy as he eagerly reached out for the mug. A few moments later, he cries out, jumps up and dashes in doors and up stairs. Now, the coffee is good, really good even, but not THAT good. After a few more minutes he comes back down stairs grinning wildly and with the traces of a spring in his step. "IT'S A TURTLE!" he announces to his dad and I. He had rushed upstairs to show his sleeping girlfriend. His hangover seemed to completely disappear. Now, it could be the 3 cups of coffee he drank one after another, but, as the effects occurred immediately after one, I am more inclined to think that the coffee turtle cured his hangover. You decide...

Lovely present to give, only downside was the cup is very small so you only get about half the volume of an ordinary cup of tea/coffee.

My friend bought me one of these for Christmas and I lived it so much, I had to get another one. Mug is a lovely blue and the turtle beautifully modelled. Looks exactly like the photo.

Well packaged and timely sent - my wife enjoyed this turtle mug. We look forward to surprising a visitor with it!

Bought this as a gift so was disappointed to find the box was battered, especially as the description says it has premium packaging. The Amazon box seemed secure so I suspect it may have been damaged prior to being shipped. The mug is adorable, a nice weight and a classy colour that would suit anyone's kitchen. Just a pain that I now have to buy a replacement box, but I guess I should count myself lucky the mug is intact.

Bought as a Christmas gift. Not heard any complaints from the recipient.

I bought this as a gift and she absolutely loves it she put it on a shelf lobster facing out so she could display it instead of putting it in a cabinet to use to drink out of its a great gift!!

Die Tasse ist ein tolles Geschenk und wenn man sie dem Beschenkten gefüllt übergibt, eine besonders schöne Überraschung. Die Figur sieht schön aus und die Tasse scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein. Was nicht ganz so optimal ist, ist die Möglichkeit, sie zu reinigen. Die Spülmaschine schafft es aber anscheinend auch bis unter die Figur.
