Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition (PS3)

This game is one of the best if not the best game of all time. When GTA V comes out in September if it's half as good as this then I would pay for it. You begin as a ship crew member coming of the boat and onto the port where you meet your cousin Roman Bellic. And from thee the door opens to open world carnage. The game itself is stunning, with a story line that you'll want to keep playing at for hours. Some of the missions are slightly tedious but not one is to hard/ to easy or just worthless. Throughout the game there are numerous vehicles that you can use, from old bangers to luxury cars. From a little peddle boat to a luxury cruise liner. Even from a Forklift truck to an airport Tug. But if you were buying this game in the hope of using aeroplanes look else where, the size of the map is to small to have aeroplanes but helicopters suit the game better I think [Land them anywhere]. Through out the game, apart from the odd call from your friends which you pick up along the way there are a whole load of things that you can do. Go on a helicopter tour in Algonquin, go for a meal in Broker. Play darts, pool and various mini games scattered around the city. And for those who have been worries, the strip clubs are still there. If you are considering buying this game then go for the complete edition as you would be saving yourself a lot of money. The Ballad of Gay Tony is stupendous, playing as a sort of handyman to the man himself. I like the way that the story intertwines in with GTA IV. I noticed first when in IV you rob a bank, one of the victims of the hold up is the character you play as. And the Lost and Damned is a masterpiece. Don't hesitate about buying this, you are wasting valuable buying time.

San Andreas was the bomb!! How I wish I could play it on PS3! I played GTA SA on Laptop, but it was far much fun, the story line, the suspense, the personalities!! It aint there in GTA IV

I bought the original Grand Theft Auto 4, but it kept crashing near the beginning or had endless loading, I thought the disc was a Defect and threw it in the bin, so I bought this a year later, and again, Freezing, Crashing, I thought it must be the console so I used a Lens Cleaner. Here is how I fixed the issue: Go to; Game > "Save Data", then delete all instances of GTA 4, EVEN the original if you have it. Then go into; Game > "Game Data", Delete all instances again, even original, you should eventually have about 3 - 6 files deleted. Reboot the system (Just to be safe) Then boot it up and put the disc in, it will load up and you will get a pop up saying "Installing Data to HDD" - This can take about 15 - 25 minutes, once done, you should have no more Freezing. I haven't played much into the game, about 5 hours, but it's excellent!

Grand Theft Auto 4 is overall just an amazing game. After having put countless hours into it, I can now offer a fair and honest assessment of a game from arguably the most controversial game franchise on the market. Having already played GTA 5, and liking it, I decided why not give GTA 4 a shot and surprisingly, I enjoyed this instalment ten times more than its successor. Positives: -The map is large, incredibly detailed, and buzzing with life, just like how a city should feel. -Gameplay overall is excellent and there is lots of content to keep you entertained for hours. (The Complete Edition offers two DLC add-ons which are essentially separate games.) -The single player campaign of all three games is brilliantly written and the characters each have their own personalities along with back stories. -The soundtrack of the game is interesting, with a wide variety of songs from different music genres. Negatives: Only drawbacks are the obvious ones. -The visuals have not stood the test of time that well. -The social commentary is dated. -The gameplay mechanics can be clunky at times, the missions can get annoying and a slight feeling of repetitiveness can set in. -The multiplayer is practically empty now. Such cons are too trivial for them to have a considerable negative effect on the games quality. This game is definitely a strong contender for one of the greatest games of all time, and I highly recommend you pick this game up if you have not already played it. An absolute classic.

(Fulfilled by Amazon) sent me the NTSC Asian version and i bought the PAL UK version like the cover and ASIN number displayed in the product details. No he recibido el artículo correcto. Wer GTA 4 mag, wird dieses Spiel lieben. Ich freue mich sehr, die completeEdition gekauft zu haben, denn die Erweiterungen sind ein Riesenspaß. Sie erweitern das Hauptspiel um einige, teils ineinander verwobene, Handlungsstränge und sind deutlich abwechslungsreicher und spaßiger.

Aunque el juego es de importanción inglesa, incluye la posibilidad de seleccionar el idioma español en su configuración, con lo que los menús y subtítulos del juego pueden leerse sin problemas en este idioma. Dado que el juego en español es exactamente igual, pues no incluye traducciones de los diálogos al español, recomiendo esta opción al salir más barata. Además, el pack es perfecto, incluye en un mismo disco el juego principal (GTA IV) y los dos episodios de Liberty City, lo cual por el precio que tiene es una auténtica ganga para jugar de una tacada a todas las variantes del GTA IV. Compra 100% recomendable.

Ottimo. È nuovo e ha anche la lingua italiana. E cosa più importante, questa versione scatolato ha tutte le canzoni originali delle radio, a differenza delle versioni digitali, in cui un paio di anni fa sono stati rimossi 50 brani per via delle licenze scadute, tra l'altro i più belli. Quindi questa edizione fisica ha un alto valore, perché è l'unica che permette di godersi l'esperienza di GTA IV nella sua interezza come è stato pensato originariamente.

L'ho pagato poco meno di 20€ usato e mi è arrivato un prodotto pari al nuovo ed è arrivato in anticipo rispetto alla data di consegna prevista e ben imballato. Il gioco è completamente italiano e per chi come me si è perso episodes from liberty city e non ha gta 4 questo prodotto è perfetto, paghi 3 giochi in 1 (anche se questo gioco costa ancora il doppio nei vari negozi rispetto al prezzo di amazon).

Teniendo en cuenta que el envio es por correo ordinario desde Reino Unido, llegó en unos cinco días. Además no te cobran el IVA, por lo que el precio es bastante asequible. El juego viene como en la edición española con subtítulos al castellano y como ya tiene unos años, se le nota el paso del tiempo. Aunque he de decir que la esencia sigue ahí y no defrauda en absoluto ;)
