Is this a global compass or is it to be used in MN region?

This compass is MN region. You can check on Silva's website and it will explain the regions and which type you require. We only sell MN regions.

Is it possible to adjust for declination?

These a counterfeit SILVA products, the bezel holding the compass is not filled with Oil, not even water, so the needle is erratic and I don’t trust it. Amazon offered a replacement but why replace a fake product with another fake product. Just avoid and buy from somewhere more reliable.

does this item come with the lanyard?

Yes mind did. A green lanyard instead of the usual red lanyard.

Is this a global compass? Or is the needle set for MN region?

The Silva 4 Militaire is not a global compass, unfortunately - you will need a version with a needle balanced for your destination - I hope this helps.
