IK Multimedia iRig Midi 2 Universal MIDI Interface for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac and PC-Black

Excellent gadget. No effort required - just plug it in and use your favourite software to make magic happen. Labelled to it's easy to see where to put the plugs - even for me. I have used it to connect my iPad mini 2 to my Roland R8M drum machine, also had it running through mt AMT8 Midi interface. I use the Genome sequencer software to make things work. Genome recognised the iRig immediately and, as long as I specify the right midi channel, it will send my drum track to the R8M with no problems. I haven't experimented fully with other hardware synths but there should be no problem. Now I just need to buy some musical talent from Amazon and I'll be making hits...

Great product. I am using this to integrate my IOS devices into my studio running Cubase pro 10 via midi and I have been very impressed with the device. Very flexible and simply does the job.

I bought this MIDI interface in order to send MIDI program changes from my iPad to my VoiceLive Play. It turned out to be remarkably easy to do because I didn't have to install any drivers, it just worked straight out of the box. It came with one cable with a Lightning connector and another with a USB A connector. These cables were only 69cm end to end, hardly enough to reach the floor when your i{ad is on a music stand, but purchasing a third party Lightning extender cable solved that issue. Over all I am very happy with this; it does the job that it was intended for. Happy days!

Klassiska synthar med MIDI som kopplas till dator eller platta. Detta är lösningen. Funkar klockrent med min Roland JX-8P, D-50, MT-32 och även AniMoog med Novation Keyboard.

Yo lo quería para poder conectar mi viejo teclado midi al iPad por cable midi de 5 pines. Funciona muy bien. No me ha dado ningún problema en ninguna aplicación. He leído por ahí quejas de que se come mucho la batería del iPad (ya que no va alimentado externamente). En mi caso no tengo queja. Debe de haber algún adaptador de la propia empresa IK Multimedia para poder alimentarlo a la vez que está conectado, y así que no se descargue el iPad. Yo en principio no lo necesito.

Nutze dieses Gerät um meinen E-Dudelsack mit dem iPad zu verbinden. Es klappt wunderbar, habe nichts auszusetzen und würde es wieder bestellen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Upon arrival it became immediately obvious that the product box had been opened before and there are some signs of wear on the product itself. Normally I don’t care but if I’m paying full price I expect a new and unopened box. Might as well have gone out and bought a refurbished unit for less… It just feels annoying to get the short end of the stick as a customer. but I don’t think I have to explain how this feels for anyone to understand the annoyance.
