I would say this is pure when I melt it and bring it let it harden it does not have any kind of contaminant in it. It has that really good smell like it should I've even used it for cooking it's wonderful. But I bought it to make body butter with rice bran and rose hip oil. Came out great

When I opened the bag the smell of chocolate hit me. These are chunks of raw food grade cocoa butter so they’re hard. However, you need to melt them over a double boiler. If you do not add oil the cocoa butter will harden again. I added some avocado oil & used a hand mixer to turn into cream, then put in airtight container. Also, consuming this also helps to lower bad cholesterol. I had a tiny bite & it’s so yummy, not sweet but delicious.

My family uses this product daily related to dry skin. We depend on this product for its quality and effectiveness.

Smells like chocolate - which it should! Nice sized chunks, well packaged, sturdy bag with solid zip closure. Nice and fresh, I'm really happy. Will use it for both chocolate tempering and for handmade cosmetics. Really good stuff! Customers who reported "mold" apparently don't know what chocolate looks like when it blooms, however my bag had NOT bloomed. This is good quality - buy this with confidence.
