The light distance with the wide angle
The media could not be loaded. This is a nicely priced 850nm LED Flood that does what it advertises. I like it a lot and plan to buy more.My Setup:My yard is near the end of a court so it is a pie slice shaped yard. The Nigh Vision camera (Avertx HD80IRM) is at one side of the yard and the other side of the yard is about 124 feet away. I mounted the LONNKY LED light just below the HD80IRM which is just below most of the HD80IRM’s LEDs.My opinion:The price is nice. The LONNKY LED used a wall wart that converts 120 VAC to 12 VDC up to 2 A with about 6’ of cord. The setup was simple and easy and I tested it at dark. I turned all the lights off on the back of the house so the video I took was just the HD80IRM internal LEDs and the LONNKY LEDs. The HD80IRM provided minimal night vision light. The specs for HD80IRM are attached and says the IR Range is 60 feet. It is pretty minimal at 60 feet. I do not know how to turn off these internal LEDs and still have the camera in IR Mode. It is also a 3MP daylight camera. When the LONNKY was used, I could see all the way across the back yard. I could easily tell that a person was in the field of view all the way to the other side. I was unable to verify exactly if its a 90-degree field of view, but the HD80IRM spec is a 96.1 degree field of view and the LONNKEY covered that. I measured the power consumption of 7.1 watts with a Killowatt power meter, which is less that the 24 watts the wall wart can supply and 0 watts in daylight. I attached the video (Note: it is highly compressed). The only issue is the bracket, it is a bit weak but works.

this is what your ring camera needs or your predator target area
These things are absolutely amazing. They light up a target area or an entire yard for a ring camera. I’ll be buying more awesome awesome awesome!

Died quickly
Made an amazing difference at night. Until one of them quit working about a month after hooking it up. They had been sitting in my garage for months before I installed them. I am far past the return now.

Works like the description says.
Very nice light. Will do pictures once I get a chance. But the light is very bright and has heck of a distance. Works way better than I ever expected.

pretty decent illuminator
It appears the 9 middle LEDs have lenses with a very narrow focus, while the outer 6 LEDs have wide angle lenses. The narrow focus works well for my application, where I am trying to illuminate a mailbox 100 feet away that has had some suspicious activity. I ended up buying after-market LED lenses (20mm) to make the outer 6 LEDs have a narrower focus also.

Much narrower than advertised, mount is terrible
It works okay. Primary hot spot of the illumination is more like 20-30 degrees, not 90. Mounting bracket is very annoying to actually mount, since it's designed to require removing the bracket entirely before screwing it into something. Not bad enough to return, not good enough to ever buy again.

Gives great coverage - be careful of dropping the screws when you re-attach the bracket.
Easy to setup. However, you have to remove the 2 screws that attach the bracket to the light when you are attaching to your structure and they are small and easy to drop. In my installation, that would have meant a watery grave. It would be better if there was a slot in the bracket instead of a hole to attach to the light.

Big & Heavy Duty
These lights are perfect for illuminating a very dark area at night to get the most out of your security cameras. They feel solid and heavy duty so be sure to choose a mounting surface that will support the light. I have yet to install mine, and will update afterwards.
