Great for making roll out cookies. The 3/8” is a little thick but you can easily get different thickness by removing ends. Works great.

My favorite thing about this is that it has guides on the edges. You unscrew the end and you pick the thickness you are rolling it out to. The handle where you screw them on is deep, doesn't come off when you are using it. It is made with solid wood, no splinters. It is easy to roll. I like that it came with the 5/16 size I needed. Others ignore this size.

Rolling pin where I can control the height

I love this rolling pin for rolling out my sugar cookie dough. The length allows me to roll out larger sheets of dough at a consistent thickness. Larger sheets means less rolling! I knocked off one star because the end rings tend to unscrew as I’m rolling and I have to keep tightening them so they don’t fall off. I’ve kind of gotten used to it and retighten without even thinking about it now, but still, it’s a design flaw.

Absolutely LOVE this rolling pin. It's so easy to change which thickness you want, the dough doesn't stick to the roller, it's heavy enough to help roll but not a workout. It's so easy to clean, I just wipe it down with a damp cloth. I love being able to roll out my cookies knowing they're all the same thickness.

This was such a great buy. While there are lots of tools in the baking world in this day and age, this is definitely one of my favourite. It takes the guessing out of thickness and helps me feel a little more confident about what I’m doing as I continue to learn and bake more often.
