Just what I needed

Fits well in my desk lamp. The bulb itself says it's around 900 lumens if that's any help to anyone! It's brighter than my previous bulb and really lights up my office area at night which I appreciate! Well worth it for two bulbs! I only just got it so I have no idea about how long it'll last, but if I remember to update this, we'll see. :p For now though, I'm pleasantly happy with it since I can continue my work at night in peace and brightness.

The 5k white light brightens the room and gives a more modern, contemporary feel. I'd give them 5 stars but one light burned out after a week.

These lights are exactly what I needed! They aren't too tall for my lamp and they are the exact brightness I needed! Believe it or not, the bulb that was replaced was in that lamp for almost 10 years and it just burned out right before I ordered these!! And, I keep that light on 24/7 to have a night light at night and when I have to go on a trip!! The price is great, also!!

Light bulbs are high risk items for transport. These came quickly and in good condition. I have found their bulbs to be excellent when I've previously purchased them.

This compact fluorescent bulb has been a solid workhorse in my table lamp for over a year now. The E26 base fits standard fixtures perfectly, and the light output is bright and even once it warms up—though it does take about 30 seconds to reach full brightness, which is typical for CFLs. The energy savings are noticeable on my electricity bill compared to the old incandescent bulbs I was using. The spiral design is compact enough to fit in most lampshades without looking awkward. While it's not as instant-on as LEDs and the light quality isn't quite as warm, it's been completely reliable with no flickering or premature burnouts. For the price, it's a decent middle-ground option between cheap incandescents and pricier LEDs, especially if you need something for fixtures that aren't used constantly. If you don't mind the brief warm-up time and want an affordable energy-efficient bulb, this CFL does the job well.

Hand screw in only. The extendable stick resulted in the two ordered hitting the floor. Very smooth glass. Unfortunately the bulbs being located fourteen feet in the air and over an island precludes a step ladder, and my bulb installation pole is not 'sticky'.
