Just as described. Works great for speed. Just keep it hung up to keep kinks out like other reviewers said. I've done that since I bought it and have had no problems. Good product, good price.I recommend Googling how to find the right sized jump rope for you before purchasing. I did that before buying this one since I've bought ones too long and too short in the past. This is perfect for my 5'2 1/2 height. If you're taller, I recommend getting a longer rope.

8 Feet Perfect
I needed a jump rope for my home workouts, and this one fit the bill. The 8 foot jump rope is perfect for my height 5'3" and I did not have to adjust or resize it.

Right length, wrong material for me
It’s the perfect length but not the right material for me. I tend to get stung a lot on my legs when I stop because I’m not the best rope jumper.

This jump rope is very weak, made with cheap material, get tangled by itself after single jump. This is the worst jump rope I’ve ever used.

Get what you pay for
It's cheap but it's fine for current purposes. Nothing to write home about. My hubby is 6'1" and it's "almost" too short for him. Buy a size a bit up if in doubt.
