This sound machine is excellent. It has a small footprint, but not a small sound. The tone quality is good. There is no stopping and starting of the sounds, the sounds are continuous.The unit is compact and does not take up much space on the nightstand. The controls are well marked and easily used.One feature I particularly like is that there is only one small light on it, which can be easily turned off with a touch of a button. I don’t understand why so many manufacturers sell sound machines with multiple lights that are on when the machine is on, which is when you’re trying to sleep.The well fought out and designedsound machine checks all the boxes for me.

My son, 7, uses this every night to fall asleep. He loves the "brown noise" sound on there. We make sure it's always on a loop so it doesn't turn off and wake him up.

Been using for about 10 weeks now. I primarily use the heavy rain sound so I can't speak for all the tones, but for my use it is excellent and helps me get and stay asleep longer than without. I like where the buttons are located and are easy to use. The UBS plug in is neatly in the back so I can hide the wire, looks like it belongs on my nightstand. It is a great price for what it delivers and would certainly recommend it to a friend

I'm impressed my the quality of the sound for something so compact. I love it! the noise settings are great. I got it for pink nose, but love the brown noise. There are a bunch of guys who sit outside my window and smoke, cough, yell, and complain around the clock. This blocks them out even better than the AC unit and for a lot less money! It's also very loud for the size. Some people complain that it's too loud even on the quietest setting, and I can see why. It won't turn down to a really soft sound, but the point of it is to block out noise, so it's not a problem for me. I haven't turned it all the way up yet. I just know that it got way louder than I'll ever need it before I hit the upper limit. It gets loud enough that I can't tell if the AC unit next to it is running out not. I'm really pleased.I can't say that I'd recommend it for the music settings, as the sound quality of a single, tiny speaker isn't up to replicating a piano how is like to hear it, but I'm really picky about audio. There's no way the "Alpha Wave" setting can change brainwave frequency with a single speaker, but it's a choice I'm sure someone will appreciate. Just not me. I'll stick with the noises.A lot of people complain that you have to cycle through the settings and they're not grouped into categories like some similar products. I don't have a problem with this. It took only me a few minutes to get familiar with where things were and I think most people will be like me and find there are one or two they like and get to them quickly. Honestly, every time I've taken it off the Brown noise setting to give something elsea try, I end up back on Brown noise after a few minutes anyway. I'd guess that 98% of people will find what works for them and just keep it there like I do. I chose this one because the reviews I read about the ones that have the more sophisticated controls used looped sounds and there are audible clicks when the loops cycle. All of the sounds on this one are smooth and clear. I only wish it projected sound 360°. It would be great if it sent noise out the back to prevent the inside sounds from being heard on the outside. Even though it puts sounds out on three sides, the quality and quantity of the sound varies greatly depending on the angle. The sound coming out the sides is insignificant compared to the front.Overall, a very compact product that doors what it says very well and provides surprisingly good sound for the size.

Finally found a small noise machine that has brown noise that is actually brown noise. Many of them say brown but it is just another version of white. It has a large variety of sounds although I only tested them, never used any other overnight. This has improved my sleep by being just the right background sound to drown out the neighbor's AC running or street noises. You can run it continuously or choose from a few time options. I run it all night.

Very affective at drowning out the birds when they start singing at 4 am. It very easy use and a lot of different sounds to choose from.

This little sound machine is great! It has a lot of sound options and the volume can go quite loud.
