Is this table made with engineered wood?

I think the table is made from some sort of composite board because of the smooth feel of the underneath of both the shelf and top of table, but in appearance looks very much like wood. I think the legs are regular wood. I'm very pleased with my tables. They are well made, very solid. Require some assembly, but not a problem--put two tables together in about an hour by two very senior citizens.
