Does this device have mute capability?

I have not attempted to mute the earbuds, I simply hit pause

Can use each earbud individually ?

You will only hear half of the stereo field, but sure you can listen to one earbud and have a friend listen to the other one

Does the bass sound better on the sesh anc or the indy anc?

The Indy ANC would have better bass/sound quality.
