The spiky ball is made of a hard material, perhaps, a hard plastic. I am not sure about that, but I can tell you that this is perfect for the feet and areas behind the knee. It gives an instant relief that I could not find with a lacrosse ball. I use the smooth massage ball sometimes for the front of the knee, shoulders, and elbows. If you already do not have a lacrosse ball, this set is perfect as the smooth ball has the same consistency of a lacrosse ball, although, it might be a tad bit smaller which is better actually.

Should last you a life time of at home accupuncture. I can say enough how incredible this product is!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apply as much pressure as you can take. I can now stand on it and want to get a few more.

I especially love the Spiky ball for my legs and feet. After 5-10 minutes of self massage with it the first night I slept like a baby, no restless achy legs! My feet just love it! The smooth ball I use on my arms and some on my back...today I used them with Massage Therapy clients as I had my MT use them in my own massage. Especially legs, which hold years of standing tension seem to let go beautifully prior to the hands on deeper work within the body. excited by these balls. quality is excellent!

These are great to work tight muscles all over. Carry bag is convenient to just throw in my workout bag. Definitely recommend!

These are great. I used to work on my feet all the time but changed jobs to a desk job a few years ago. I started working part time on weekends where I'm on my feet all day again. I admit I got a bit out of shape with the desk job so my feet were not happy with the sudden 8 hr running around days again. These are so great. I went to a yoga retreat that had something like this which gave me the idea to get my own. These really help my feet after a long day on them.

I have a bad trigger point on my right shoulder and really helps with knot.

Good during material. Feel solid when holding them. It's nice to have a little pouch to hold them both in place and carry around in the gym. It would be nice if it includes some way to show how to use them effectively. I can't find anything in the package for reference, so I just try and error on my own and don't know if I am doing it as designed. Also, it has some funky small from the plastic for the first few days.
