Good buy for a beginner
I've had this banjo for months now and it just resonates pure rustic folk sound. If you want an inexpensive banjo, let this be it.

buyer be ware
Not knowing anything about a banjo I was initially very happy with this banjo. After a month of searching for a banjo teacher we found one! Sadly the teacher informed me that the tuning keys wouldn't stay in tune. Upon taking it to a local music store I was told that sadly there is too much play between the key and the cog. Currently waiting to see if I can return my son's new banjo. . .
