MeFix 8586 Soldering Station 2 in 1 Functions Electric Iron SMD Hot Air Rework Station

Great bang for the buck. Works surprisingly well. Have only used it on small projects but haven’t had any issues with it so far.

Awesome little tinkerer station. Ive used this for several projects over the last few days and it's all worked really well. Hot air station heats up quick and comes with several tips for focusing the air in different patterns. Soldering iron also heats up quick and holds a tin very well. I did use a different soldering iron holder but the one it came with was decent, I prefer to use a different way to clean the iron off than with the wet sponge. Haven't used the solder sucker yet but the spring action works well so I imagine it'll work just fine.

Very nice solder station the or the price. Solding iron heats quickly and is temperature controlled. Hot air gun only works when pointed down. So you can not hear the bottom of a board with it.

Not bad, but it's a bit tricky to adjust the temperature—it’s not very precise. Good for home use, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it for professional applications.

worked well, heat gun portion only works when pointed downwards but that wasnt a problem, safety feature cuts heat off when pointed up on heat gun. soldering iron worked just as well and temp controls were seemingly on point and heated up quickly. 500 degrees was the temp i had it set to for heat gun use and then on soldering iron. used for Motherboard component replacement.

This works very well. Gets to an accurate temperature quickly and holds it. I have a lot of miles on the heat gun and still works like day 1

Well it died on me and won't heat up anymore. Heat gun failed and now it's done for. Guess it wasn't to expensive but still could have lasted longer. I've only used it like 6 times. So save your money and time. Sure there are better products elsewhere

Heat gun worked only once, then stopped heating.

I was surprised that the input voltage is 110v, there is no mention of that in the specification page, but I purchased a voltage converter just for this station to find out the bad build quality, as well as the buzzing sound when turned on. On the other hand, when turned on the soldering part starts working without even turning this part ON! So the switch that supposed to control that is a failure. Also, the rework part doesn’t work normally maybe it is me having no experience on such device. I requested a return.
