DEWALT20V MAX Pruning Shears Garden Tool, Cordless, Bare Tool Only (DCPR320B)

This things has been amazing to use. We have numerous fruit trees, lilac bushes, etc that need routine trimming. I, as a grown man, let out an uncontrollable giggle the first time I squeezed the trigger and watched the blade move. I immediately ran around the property snipping dead branches off all the trees before realizing my mother would LOVE this given her age, lack of hand strength, and number of overgrown bushes at her house. AND IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY! Finally an idea for someone who has very few wants or needs! When she came over for her birthday she also giggled while testing it out at her house, and has texted me with excitement at least 3 times now after she has used it. I took it over to my in laws' house and let my father in law use it on a bush we were cutting down completely. I have never heard this 74 yr old man giggle like he did on the first few cuts. It is so fast to nip away at small branches that I'm about to toss my manual cutters in the trash. Even branches up to 1" or so, if they're dried out or take 2-3 cuts.

This device is one of the best battery powered pruners I have owned. I have owned three lower cost pruners. I've worn out two of them and the third didn't work out of the box. This is what happens when you go on the cheap. Better tospend a little more and get quality. This device has power. It cuts up to 1 1/2 inch limb or root. It's a little heavy butI was able to spend the most of the day taking out invasive vines without a problem.

My Wife and I both have arthritis and a simple pruning is very hard for us. This tool with its pistol grip and safety is very comfortable to use. I started on some small 1/4 inch stuff which the dewalt handled easily. I then took a chance on a 1 1/2 inch unruly oak branch and this thing took it down in one shot. I highly recommend this. Take back your garden with this yellow and black hero.

Very much impressed with the quality of this pruner. It cuts up to 1 1/2 limbs like butter. I have 7 old crepe myrtles that line one side of my driveway. The new sprouts at the base have to be cut back periodically. Battery is more that adequate. Ive never run it out of power. I would say 1100 cuts per charge is pretty accurate. I run out of gas before it does. This is a great tool.

Very nice pruner! DeWalt quality throughout! I also ordered an off brand smaller one that comes with a 9 foot extension pole and that also uses DeWalt batteries. It works very well too. The DeWalt seems a bit more robust. As expected the other brand pole does not engage the DeWalt when attached. That’s fine. Having both tools provides all I’ll need for pruning without having to choose one over the other - and keeps me off my ladder!

The Dewalt prunning shears are a game changer! I have used the heck out of this thing on lilacs, lower small random branches, bushes of all sorts. As a single, 67 year old woman, I needed something to make my life easier as a gardener. The battery operated pruning cutters are easy to use, fast cutting, and the battery lasts through my project of the day. I'll never go back to hand pruning shears again. Their all going to the free pile. I've talked many friends and my sister into buying this amazing tool. Worth every penny!

Would have gotten a 5 star review except the trigger safety switch (hand grip area) is very difficult to keep armed.Great for repetitive use but bulky compared to manual pruners.

Easy to use and does cut up to 1.5 inch limbs. If the blade is sharp. Great for chopping up branches into small segments to fit into Green Recycling Barrels. No more trying to stuff branches into the barrel and using loopers to cut them smaller. Seriously, you can quickly mince branches. You'll have a harder time moving the weight than filling the recycling Barrel. My 2ah battery will do a 1,000 or more cutsComes with a lot of warnings, but, always be safety conscious with this tool.
