Wow—Amazing shots when combined with my Picopresso! The precision holes in this high performance basket actually do make a big difference in flavor (I was a little skeptical). The very slight, tiny bit of bitterness in my favorite beans is almost completely gone, and suddenly the caramel and chocolate notes are much more noticeable with a hint of berries. Great, worth every dine! Highly recommend! But for Picopresso you will need a new 51mm funnel and tamper to use this basket. I already had them. So no-brainer for me, but others should factor in that additional cost if they don’t already own these specific 51mm tools.

What a difference this made for my DeLonghi. I've only recently gotten into at home espresso and this fit an aftermarket portafilter great and is exceptionally better in quality. Works well and produces better shots with less channeling than the stock basket. Holes are more precision drilled with more of them. Shots come out sweeter and more consistent. If your basket is leaking, you may need to adjust your grind size. 100% recommend IMS baskets.

I bought this to replace the filter basket in a bottomless portafilter I bought recently. I was having tons of issues with spraying no matter what I tried (different grind adjustments, dose size, tamp pressure, etc). I was able to get this one dialed in quickly. It makes a good shot and I've had no issues with spraying. It also fit perfectly in my 51mm portafilter and my casabrews espresso machine.

This basket is amazing!!! I’m drinking real espresso for the first time ever from my cheap Deloghni. Two shots from this basket taste stronger than 4 from my old pressurized basket. I’ve stopped getting Starbucks because the taste is disappointing compared to home. I use this basket with my Deloghni EPC3630. I did not have to buy a new portafilter. I used a screw driver and removed the black plastic thing inside and the wire that sits under the Deloghni provided stainless steel pressurized basket. I cannot believe the quality of espresso I’m now getting from my cheapo espresso machine!

This is a great filter basket, used it for the DeLonghi Dedica Duo. It fits fine and when paired with a bottomless portafilter does what it says. I gave it four stars because in the end, after trying different grind settings on my Rancilio Rocky grinder, after weighing out different amounts of coffee, after using a puck guard the espresso tasted not really different from the pressurized basket originally provided by DeLonhgi. This is not saying its not worth it--its saying it performs well as advertised but in the end with the lower end machine I didnt perceive any real value. and I soooo wanted to watch the cool effects of an extraction like you see in endless product videos about open/bottomless portafilters.

I use a Delonghi Dedica espresso machine and have always been unsure about the best basket size. Until I tried this one, I found that the coffee brewed with it is truly excellent! This could be due to the larger number of holes, each of the same size. I can use between 17 and 19 grams of coffee depending on the roast level, making this the perfect size! Larger baskets (I also bought the IMS 20-26g basket) seem to force a coarser grind, while smaller sizes force a finer grind. This basket is just right! It is the best fit for the Delonghi Dedica!

You can ditch the KLARSTEIN Passionata's pressurized basket and make some proper espresso with this basket. At first, locking it into the machine is a bit stiff but it seems to be breaking in after one use. Instantly makes a difference in your shot pull even if it's not dialed in yet.

Maybe i should have done more reading but my issue with this beautiful basket is that the borders are more raised than a regular 51 mm basket so for my Delonghi Dedica EX685 when using a bottomless portafilter it didn't fit (when I use the regular basket that comes with the bottomless portafiler they do fit!). I was able to find a workaround and dissemble the original pressurized portafilter that comes with the machine and put this basket there. This way I was able to use it but since the portafilter is not opened in the bottom I'll never be able to see how much channeling is happening. Other than that amazing quality.
