Very cool lamp!
It seemed a bit cheaply made when I took it out of the box, but overall it's a very cool lamp and I absolutely love it in my space! It's perfect for a little mood lighting, more on the bright white side of color as well. You have to be careful with the strings when turning it on, if the ball jiggles too much the light flickers. I am also having a hard time finding a power block for it that doesn't get really hot when in use. Thankfully I don't have it on for very long periods of time so it's not that much of an issue for me.

Good for desk
All things considered, this is a great desktop lamp for work! Magnetic balls for the switch is a cool concept.Only drawback - Wish the strings holding the magnets were not the obnoxious red.

Unique
I was looking for a slightly unusual lamp for a teenager's desk and this is just what I needed. It's really fun to use and looks great when it's on and when it's off. Good lighting for that extra "glow". Not sure it's enough for the only lighting on a desk, but fabulous for adding a touch of class.

Magnetic switch is a hoax
The “switch” is non functional; the only way to turn it on or off is unplugging it; is just a c shaped light w magnetic balls in the middle; cool idea, but only if it actually worked; the magnetic balls are just decoration; also, when you open the package, it looks kinda cheap-y and plastic; poor design
