VOELUX Premium Adjustable Upper Back Posture Corrector & Clavicle Support Brace (Large)

I am a muscular man with a 42-44 inch chest and this band barely fit. As such it did not produce enough tension to pull my back up straight, which was the only thing this product was supposed to do...I guess I will keep looking.

This upper back posture brace was made very well. However the only size that was available at the time was too large for me. It would fit a man much better.

A little awkward to adjust, but definitely helps my posture, which lessens some of my back pain.

Do not buy for broken clavicle. Does not stay over shoulder and provides no support. The part that wraps around stomach may work for you if you are looking for a girdle.

I should have read the recent reviews. I concur this product is useless. I purchased the Premium version and while the material is nice, the lack of usable instructions to assemble this spiderweb of straps makes it completely unusable. I "think" I have it connected properly but the straps are still difficult to adjust and even when they are tight, I fail to see how this will help my posture. Wearing the straps like backpack straps, it's not tight enough across the back. Tightening the shoulder straps only causes the shoulder straps to start pinching around your arm pits.

This brace is GREAT! I've been suffering with pain from a neck/shoulder injury and have not found a brace that didn't cut into my armpits. This is SO comfortable - because of those big fat soft neoprene pads, and the simple, elegant, minimalist design. I am finally able to sleep, only because this brace is comfortable and adjustable enough to even wear through the night. AND ... as an added benefit ... the VOELUX owners are super wonderful - I ordered the back brace, received it 1 1/2 days later, had ordered the wrong item so contacted them right away and BOOM two days later, 9:00am, there's the back brace delivered to my front door step. Before I had even returned the first item! Great business, great product ... what more can you ask for!Update: Been wearing this daily for about two months - it's still absolutely terrific. During this period I've tried other back braces and had to return them, most MUCH more highly rated by customers than this. I must have different needs than most users. I'm small, and using their size "Medium" (not the Large size pictured here) - maybe that's why mine fits perfectly. Also, I have mine cranked to the very tightest it will go, meaning my shoulders are pushed back and down as far as they'll go (that's most comfortable for me, relieves the pain best and is most supportive.) Maybe other customers want only a light support? I have only one criticism of this product: the waist strap comes undone - the piece of velcro is way too small - a better design would have velcro all along that bottom piece both to keep the ends tucked in, and more importantly, to hold it together. I'm now trying to find velcro, and glue that will bond velcro to neoprene, to try to solve this problem. I don't want to use safety pins because they'll tear holes in the neoprene over time. The waist band does tend to ride up, too (since its job is to pull *down* on the shoulders and nothing is holding it down) so I find myself constantly pulling it down throughout the day - that's an annoying flaw.But still, all in all, this is EXTREMELY comfortable, and strong, and does what it's supposed to do. I love it.

I'm wearing this product now. I have a t-shirt on and the fabric is exactly like the rest of the reviews...bunched up into my armpits. The one reason why hiking backpack shoulder straps that are wide like this work is because they have a chest strap to pull them together. without this feature, the comfort of placement is terrible. I've found that typing with this on right now, it's clear that blood circulation is partially cut off. I've taken it off and on about 10 times trying to get it comfortable and it's just not going to happen without a chest strap to pull the should straps out of the arm pits. It was a nice attempt at a potentially great product, but the comfort in the pits is too much to bear. Sorry. Returning.

the strap buckles end up between my chest and arms, not comfortable. The neoprene the rides along the straps bunches up as you put it on and wear it. This also bunches up between my arms and chest. So I have a big ball of neoprene and a plastic strap buckle all under my arm and is totally uncomfortable.
