Works great and compact !I never used the "portable spray wash" before, but I am so glad I stumbled upon this product.Good quality, compact and very potable. It came with 2 AAA batteries (!!) 1 replacement nozzle tip, and 1 bag. This company is really thinking ahead for consumers. I like the two washing / flow modes, too. Works great with gentle wash with even low mode. Nozzle angle is easily adjustable, easy to aim & clean the rear-end, too. (Ladies - I am sure you all know, but the nozzle is NOT for inserting). No leaks. Product quality is important to me, and price is very reasonable for its quality and what it can do. I am now looking forward to travel with this, too.

I was using a portable bidet which is basically a squeezable plastic bottle (filled with water) with an angled nozzle attached. Then you just press the bottle to pump out the water. It does the cleaning job, but it leaks a lot so your pants and floor all get wet. Besides, the water stream is not strong enough.Viaes Portable Bidet works differently. First, it uses electricity to pump out (fine streams of) water thru 5 tiny holes in the nozzle. Second, you can choose High or Low speed (for water streams) - I prefer high speed. Third, it doesn't leak at all. Fourth, the nozzle arm can be adjusted in different angles to suit your convenience.To use it, just press once on H or L. To stop water at any time, press the same button again.I really like this device. I saw other brand name (at Amazon) with the same design, it looks like they all came from the same manufacturer.UPDATE on 10/27/2017: After using it for about three months, the device stops working. I thought it needs to change new batteries, so I changed it, but it still doesn't work. According to the warranty, it's one year warranty that provides complimentary repairs, but you have to contact customer support in Japan! Hopefully Amazon would change it for a new one or refund me.Originally, I gave five stars, now I'm lowering to three stars.

I'm updating my review (see original review below). I'm downgrading my review from three stars to one star. The item failed after two uses. I used it once, and it worked. At the second use, I noticed that the original batteries died, so I replaced them with brand new batteries. The item worked with the new batteries. When I tried to use the item a third time, it didn't work.Maybe this item eats batteries. I don't know. I'm not going to keep wasting batteries on it. When it actually worked, it wasn't very effective anyway (as I indicated in my review below). I won't return it because that's just gross. Anyway, I'm outside of the return window, so it's my loss.Original Review: I bought this to keep in my office so I can refresh my bottom after I do my business during business hours. The item description is very accurate, so I have no complaints there. Unfortunately, I'm rather underwhelmed by the water pressure.In comparison with the hand-held bidet I have installed on my home commode, this item doesn't even come close. Now, that's not really a fair comparison, and so I don't measure this item by the pressure of the other item. This item in itself has very weak pressure. It doesn't really spray your bottom. Instead, it just get's it wet. So, knowing that limitation, this item is moderately okay. However, don't expect it to spray away the ordure.

Wanted to love this. I NEED a bidet. It’s simply so much cleaner and leaves me feeling so refreshed. Unfortunately, most of the portable ones are the market are rather large. Luckily, I came across this. It worked great the first time. Then, I went probably a week in between uses. The second time, it didn’t work at all. I tried changing the batteries, but to no avail. I really hope they can fix this thing because I so want something similar. Until then, I guess I’ll be toting around the giant plastic ones.

With little ones in the house, I'm unable to have an actual toilet attachment due to possible water damage from a child's curiosity. Having said that, this is the next best thing. I can use it when I need it, and it works really well. It doesn't have the power of an actual unit, but it gets the job done nicely, plus I can take it when on vacation or on the road. I highly recommend this to anyone that can't have an actual bidet for whatever reason. It's definitely worth the money.

This product was reallly great...for about two months. I have IBS and I can’t install a bidet in my apartment so this nifty little device was great. However, it’s lost a majority of its water pressure and the inner seal is broken so it tends to leak as wel. Overall, a good product for the money if you cannot get a real bidet or need one for travel, but the longevity just isn’t there.

Stopped working after one use. Terrible product. Pay the money and hey a Toto washlet, it's way better quality and lasts years.
