Too sensitive
The gyro on this is overly sensitive, to achieve perfect zero level or plumb was nearly impossible on the digital bubble level. I'm a journeyman carpenter and for my needs this is just not a usable tool. I was thinking I could easily adjust the sensitivity but it doesn't have any sort of sensitivity adjustments.

Complicated
I have several dumb versions of this tool. Same form factor but very basic capabilities and I use them because I can throw one on my miter saw blade, zero it and set a 18 degree angle relative to where it was regardless if the table was flat. I thought this would be even better, and it is but it is way more complicated to use. If you NEED these additional features go for it. If you just want a small digital level that is accurate you can get one for about 1/3 the price. One day I will do something profound with this thing. It will take hours for me to figure out how to do it but it will allow me to do something that would otherwise be impossible... I hope.

Amazing precision, reproducible; pocketable
KOLSOL Digital Protractor DXL360S GYRO + Gravity 2 in 1 Digital LCD Protractor InclinometerRepeatedly tossing it around then setting it on a solid floor shows that measuring a single axis this instrument is reproducible to within 0.2 degrees. Accuracy is hard to check, but appears to be within a degree. I wish some of the walls and door frames I have been tasked with repairing had been built to that accuracy. This seems well adapted to set the angle on miter saws, and reproducing angles. On my RV, this allows easy calculation of the number of bricks under the low tires to achieve level. On a sailboat, adjusting the mask rake is straightforward, by comparing the mask angle with that of the mast step. The display is easily legible from several feet away.Rugged case, convenient magnetic base, V grooves top and bottom so it is steady against a rounded pipe; dual axis level when laid flat; fits easily into a pocket.A fun useful gadget. Push the power button and it says ‘Thanks goodbye’

A bit fiddly. No reason for the pretend accuracy, it jumps all over the place +/- 1 degree
This is an unusual device, there are some interesting use cases. It's a little bit fiddly and gives a false sense of accuracy. For example it shows a display to a 10th of a degree, but jumps all over the place +/- 1 degree. it jumps so much it was nearly impossible to even get a picture of the unit sitting still on a countertop. However, if you're ok to within 1 degree, it's very handy to measure angles. The flat circle level seems to be very accurate -I placed it on a known very flat and level quartz countertop and it was dead on.To use it, you press the angle button and press the side against one of the angles to be measured. You remove it and rotate it and measure the other angle. When testing on a wall, I got about 89 degrees, probably accurate. But remember it jumped all around between 88.5 and about 89.5. The decimal point is just a distraction, in my opinion.Unfortunately I don't see it as a viable replacement for a level - for example when using it horizontally, even getting it within .03 of level, the unit doesn't show the bubble in the middle. That seems a bit odd. (see the pictures).Overall it's interesting, but the fake level of accuracy makes it less useful than it would be otherwise.Lastly it charges with a super old school MINI USB (not micro, not usbc) Be careful you don't lose that cable, you probably don't have one lying around.

Deceptive wording and ancient technology
Besides the fact that this thing is old. It uses mini USB for god sake. Not micro but mini. The display is readable but it looks like a old space invaders game. I have other angle finder‘s which have a much slicker smoother and easier to re-display. I’m not convinced that the polymer exterior is going to help with the accuracy. My other ones have metal sides. And it’s listed accuracy is deceptive. It says +/-.05° But then it says plus one percent in addition to that. That’s terrible. One percent of a circle is 3.6° But I’m going to assume that means 1% of 90° so almost an entire degree of error in addition to the plus or minus 5/100ths.. Sure it has a resolution of .01° but that is meaningless if the accuracy is only .05 or worse +1%.And the bubble buttons on the unit or not my favorite either. It does have a center Nagy to make it easy to align against circular pipes and rods. But the odd raised corners could be problematic depending upon your use case. I would Rich rather have a smooth even service than one that is raised on each end. These are clearly ancient angle finders that somebody is trying to dump get rid of because the newer ones are much more elegant and accurate. Now the digital bubble level for laying flat might be a nice touch but the resolution of the display is so low I’m not sure that the graphic will really help you much. So you’ll have to rely on the digital readout but again if it’s +1% inaccuracy that’s awful. The only thing positive this unit has as its range of error. I placed it on a flat concrete surface. Zero did out. And indeed I got variances within its margin of error. So they got that right. It seemed in capable of repeating a measurement. But it always stayed within 1%.It also doesn’t come with a case. Every angle finder has a case even if it’s just a little vinyl cover. I can’t not recommend this as there are literally dozens and dozens of better options at the same price point or lower available on Amazon. The instructions on how to use the driver scope or not very clear and it’s only accurate to half of the degree. I can do better than that with a metal ruler.
