Work already on it and bits missing. Box had been previously opened. Having said that it is usable but not able to gift as a present.

Excellent Little Loom for the Price!
This is my first loom after experimenting with a cardboard loom and deciding I love this new hobby. It was already put together -- a big plus. Other reviews complain about it being partially strung. I think it was probably fully strung and the yarn came off in shipping. This is probably done to help novices understand how to set up the yarn. ALL the parts were present. The wing nuts are very handy. ONE issue: The heddle. Others complain that it's useless--and that is true. There's no way to keep the yarn from coming right off it, and then you have to start over. There should be a groove on the framd to hold the heddle steady into while you work. But the heddle is even too wide for the frame. I have no idea why they included it. I can work without it--but having a heddle would've been a nice touch.

What a fun little loom!
I wanted to try weaving, and this kit has everything you need to get started. I ended up using some stash sock yarn and am weaving right along. If you want to dress the loom with a rotating warp for a longer piece, you’ll need some 1” cardboard warping sticks. I recommend the book, Weaving Big on a Little Loom by Fiona Daly for instructions and inspiration.
