I could always use an additional rain umbrella. However, I purchased this umbrella specificially for UVA/UVB protection because I was told by my laser doctor for rosacea treatment to stay out of the sun and wear sunblock.In New York City it's hard to stay out of the Sun.Because we walk many blocks to get from point A to point B. And it's so humid here that sun block wears off throughout the day period. This umbrella helped me along the 30 minute walk to the laser center.I will also be bringing the umbrella to the beach and taking it out in the rain. I also realize this umbrella has another benefit: The silver fabric on the outside reflects the sun well, so it keeps me cool.Good price, make sure you pick the one with certified UVA/UVB protection since the brand makes various umbrellas 🌂 ⛱️ ☂️ 🏖

This umbrella was (almost) exactly what I was looking for. I love the colors, I love that it's for UV protection AND rain, and I love that it folds inside out to try to keep you as dry as possible! The automatic in/out feature pleasantly surprised my husband, and we both really like it. It's a bit difficult to actually push back down, but a breeze to put back in its carrying sleeve. I'd say it's a normal-sized umbrella, probably just barely big enough for 2 to squeeze under, or to fit 1 very comfortably. I bought it for the pair of us, and one of us is larger, so it's not quite enough for what I was hoping. However, it's such a great umbrella that we kept it as our 'back-up' umbrella. It's not really travel size, but it is small enough to be somewhat portable and convenient. I look forward to taking it out for a spin!

After reading reviews, I selected this larger parasol umbrella for my trip to Hawaii. I like that it opens and closes with one touch (then you must manually push in the handle). I will share that my son thought I was ridiculous to bring this —but when we were in intense heat with the sun beating down, even he wanted to share in my shade. Two people can walk together under its shade. It feels like a ten-degree difference from the direct sun. It is a large umbrella, and slightly bulky but out preforms a smaller umbrella. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

The first one I ordered was VERY hard to close was stained and had a funny smell so they sent me a replacement… its still a little hard to push down but I figure within time it will get easier. But all in all its a good umbrella. The button opens the actual umbrella and extends it but only closes the umbrella part so you have to push it down. This second one also has a funny smell but nothing TOO major because it truly helps with the sun!

I got this for Disney on a September trip. The sun blocking feature was a life saver. Immediately cooling me down. However it broke three hours in on the fourth open. Such a bummer. 😞

Awesome umbrella and was fantastic during my three city trip to San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It was brutal in the west coast during July 31 through August 11, 2023. But this umbrella saved me from the harsh sun. It does as advertised. It kept me cool, and sunburn free. My girlfriend even said it was an awesome idea that I bought the umbrella and brought it for our trip. It's easy to use and store. Worth buying and using during brutal sunny hot days.
