Jordan Inspires Hope
Writing this with tears in my eyes. As a mom of a kid with an IEP, I know first hand how challenging and heart wrenching the school journey is. It is so hard not fitting in with mainstream kids and feeling like no one understands your struggles. Jordan has captured his journey that many can relate to in his book. It is a short book filled with his viewpoint of growing up with a learning disability. Jordan’s story inspires and provides hope for students with similar struggles and the moms who are in the journey with their child. I am forever grateful to have stumbled across Jordan’s book. His story is life changing and I know can help those kids with an IEP realize their worth. They are more than their disability and there is hope for their future after high school. This book would make a great gift for teachers and other people you know who has a kid on an IEP. Don’t hesitate to purchase it. It is the best book I have read in a very long while.

My 14 year old thanks you….
My 14 year old son has dyslexia. Reading and spelling has always been a severe challenge. As a mother, I have tried any and everything money could buy, including my time and tears, outside of public school to help my son learn to read but always ended up feeling like a failure. I pulled my son out of public school his 3rd grade year and placed him in a public stem school his fourth grade year where he finally learned to read! The stem school used a different method of teaching phonics and it was exactly what my son needed…Anyway, I have purchased many, many books over the years and my son struggles to read them bc they do not peek his interest. One evening, your Instagram popped up on my feed and your video grabbed my attention! Once I realized you had written a book, I knew my son and I needed to read it! And Even though your book wasn’t in stock, I placed an order immediately and told my son, he and I would take turns reading nightly to each other once we received it.We received your book two days ago and my son has read to chapter 7. He loves your book and runs to grab it before bed. Reading your book is definitely not a chore to him. And this makes me happy!! He relates to your story because it’s his story almost exactly (his words). Additionally, he understands and feels all of the feelings and emotions you experienced while attending school on a daily basis.I want you to know, I’m thankful for your story and your book! My son is also thankful too! It truly helps to know he is not the only one with a LD. We can’t wait for the ending and your story of success! Your story gives me hope! Most importantly, your story gives my son hope!!!Thank you for sharing your story!

A must read
My children and I enjoyed this book very much. As a parent of children with special needs, I can tell you that while you are in the eye of the storm it gets loud, wild and frustrating, and many times you feel like giving up. The key is LOVE & CONSISTENCY, if you make it a habit to remind yourself that God has trusted you because you are a warrior. The key is to learn how to advocate for them, so we can teach them how to speak up for themselves.Thank you so much Jordan for giving us your testimony , you brought many tears of joy, and heart to heart conversations with our children. Continue to open up new paths and platforms for all the children and parents who are lost in the system of special education.

Important message for an important audience
An inspiring and accessible story for young adults about a young man confronting the limitations put on him and the self-doubt it had instilled in him, to develop strategies and habits for success. A bit redundant and this copy would have benefitted from more rigorous editing, but the linguistic mistakes here and there lend authenticity to Toma's story, which is undeniably heartfelt and a true reflection of his ambition. His drive has morphed from personal success into a desire to share his story with others in his shoes, to show them the possibilities and give them the confidence to overcome their obstacles. This message is a welcome break from the victim mentality plaguing so many young people, young men in particular. At the same time, it resists an equally toxic "up by the bootstraps" mentality, as Toma shines light on the journey and the support network that helped him get over setbacks and persist. A lively and refreshing read for any middle or high school audience, especially those with IEPs or other labels that might place undue limitations on their ambition or expectations.

The most inspiring yet
This book is an inspiration to many people who have disabilities and had to do a lot of work to get to the point they are at. This guy had ADHD, Dyslexia and a reading comprehension learning disability. He spent the first 18 years allowing this label to put him down and never allow him to learn the skills needed to set him up for success until he realized in his senior year he might never go to college and succeed. With the help of an advisor he applied to a college that offered a summer program to teach him the skills needed to succeed and get through college. He got through college and then worked in sales. Then he wanted to sell insurance which is what his father did but he had to pass a series of tests but with hard work and determination he was able to pass those. After he passed those tests and then the test for financial advisor he decided to open his own business and become a motivation speaker and inspiring those with disabilities to achieve their goals. If you can as a person with a disability find a way to accomplish some things you will be on your way for for every goal comes with a sacrifice. Please read this book and pay attention.

My kid with an iEP said "omg, this really describes what I was feeling in school"
My kid is reading this book and he is enjoying it a lot. There are parts of the book that he feels he is reading about himself. It is encouraging him to continue his studies and focuse on his career. Future bio-chemist <3

Must read if you have an IEP label
I could relate to this author and felt like it was my story of being an IEP student. Highly recommend to read if you are or struggling with being one. It’s a nasty label.

she has never read a full book and couldn't put it down
I bought this for my daughter who has undiagnosed learning difficulties, she is soon to take her G.C.S.E's and has been disheartened into believing that her grades matter then we came across Jordan's videos and he had her attention, and showed her that the grades didn't matter and how she got there did, she asked me to get this book so I did, she received it at 3.30 when she got home from school and is half way through 6 hours later. She has never finished a book ever, the words just don't stay for her but this book, this has her hooked to the point she is stopping reading to tell me what he is going through on this page or reading it out and telling me she feels this way..I am just about to read it myself to see how she feels explained by Jordan. I know that this book right now is the most important thing to her right now and for that Jordan thank you for being the person my daughter can identify with she doesn't feel like she is the only one that struggled your videos and your book has made her realise that she is not alone.

Every teacher should read this
Every Teacher should read this book and understand kids with an IEP or special need are not stupid, they learn differently and can be successful of they had better teachers and less one way learning.

As a parent this book is AMAZING
As a parent this book has given me some great insights to the struggles my child has especially within education. I’ve also given my children this book they are 15 and 12. My oldest has ADHD autism and she’s also dyslexic she found this book extremely easy to read, there are no ridiculous words in here it’s written in a way for a child to understand. She could relate to so much written in this book and it gave her an open insight that she isn’t the only person who has had these struggles. We also follow on the Facebook videos. And as a parent with a child who struggles to see their potential I would highly recommend this book. Each chapter is only a few pages long again which is perfect for a child to pick up read a chapter pull it down again without getting bored of feeling like it’s relentless.Highly highly recommend and have also Recommended this book to my daughter secondary school so they can also get some kind of insight to Some of the struggles many children, teens face daily
