With a big and bold "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the outer band of this ring as well as the year, the "Franklin Half Dollar" makes for a great ring with well defined lettering. The ring is 90% pure silver like our other rings and can be enjoyed and maintained in the same way as any other fine Sterling jewelry. We will automatically ship a random year on purchases made from this listing based on availability of stock at the time of purchase. For specific years please contact us before purchase to check availability. Coin Ring Sizing information: Due to the process of making coin rings, they will always have a slight taper to the inside of the ring (see photos). As a result of this taper one edge of the ring will measure larger than the other edge (approx. 1 full size). What does this mean for size selection?...Well, this means that although these rings have fairly wide band widths, the normal rules for size selection of wide band rings do not apply. A common mistake when ordering coin rings is ordering a half or full size larger due to the stated band width. In fact, the best approach when ordering coin rings is to get sized with very narrow band try-on rings (1/8") and go with that size. Many jewelry stores will size you for free and you can even go to Walmart's jewelry section and ask to use their try-on rings. We do not recommend using home methods such as printable sizers, strings, etc. as these are very unreliable. If only wide band (1/4") sizing rings are available, we recommend ordering a half size smaller than the size stated on try-on ring.

Doesn't have the detail shown in the picture
Okay, the ring has value to me because I know what it is, but if I had seen the ring in person ahead of time I would not have bought it. A person who might pick the ring up and look at it without already knowing what it is made from might have difficulty figuring it out. The words from the original coin are intact, but virtually none of the "artwork" is discernable. I give credit to the seller, who made it possible for me to get a ring made from a coin in my birth year. However it took me upwards of an hour to find the year with a magnifying glass.

Unique and high quality
This was the ring that my fiancé picked out for his wedding band. This ring was exactly what he wanted, and it was right in our tight wedding budget. We ordered it a week before the wedding (ahh) and begged to the seller to have it done ASAP so we could get it by our wedding date. The manufacturer said they would do what they could! Sure enough, it arrived like 3 days later!! It made the perfect ring to slide onto my husband’s finger during our ceremony. Months later, he still LOVES it and has gotten so many compliments on how unique it is. Thank you!!
