We've had a bit of a fruit fly problem this summer and I finally decided to get a trap. The first 2 days it worked really well! By the third day, just being in the proximity of our ceiling fan, almost 1/4 of the fluid had evaporated. It lasted a total of 7 days - when it's advertised as 4 weeks. For the price I can't complain - it did do its job and cut down on the population significantly.

Caught about 10 or 12 fruit flies . I bought one more after use.

These are cute and work alright, but they are way too tippy and, repeatedly, got tipped over and spilled the liquid.The light with the sticky card, by the same company, is much more effective.

I tried to save money by buying a generic brand and the cards kept falling out. These are more than I wanted to spend, but they do what they're supposed to do.

I am beyond happy with this fruit fly trap! I will recommend it to anyone dealing with these things. I considered buying the plug ins but decided to try this first because it’s so much cheaper. The price does not reflect the quality. I’ve caught about 20 fruit flies in about 2 days. I didn’t even think I had that many flying around.

I ordered these in addition to the plugin version by Safer. These have not caught a single fly, but the plug ins frequently fill up. Save your money and get more of those.

Better than the store ones

It did not attract the fruit Flys like I thought it would. The fruit Flys did go to it but that just flew around it and crawled on the top of it. I think they enjoyed smelling it. But it did not trap them. I still have fruit flies and they have a vacation bar to sit on and enjoy the atmosphere, LOL.
