Nordic Ware - 47500 Nordic Ware Naturals Aluminum Commercial 8" x 8" Square Cake Pan, 8 by 8 inches, Silver

I needed a smaller pan (8x8) to make some healthier brownie mix I'd found, and got this one. Used Bob's Red Mill Brownie Mix, which has no bioengineered ingredients in it, according to the packaging. While the pan was a bit more expensive, it's definitely higher quality (and a little bit heavier than anticipated), which means it should last for decades if treated okay. I did opt to use parchment paper for the first time, and love how the brownies came out. Will be foregoing greasing my baking pans from now on, whenever possible, and will use parchment paper instead. I had to use two sheets as one wasn't wide enough, but just cut off the excess paper before putting it into the oven. And clean up was a non -issue, the parchment paper got tossed and the pan was just as clean as it was new. Love this brownie mix, too!

I have many Nordic Ware reviews and I will say it again - I LOVE NORDIC WARE! I began to replace my walmart pans (that were about the same price by the way) and these are 10x better. More even bakes and super easy to clean. I don't think I will ever have any other bakeware. They are great quality and no oven popping (you know... where you put a pan in the oven and then the pan warps).

Purchased this to try for more evenly baked brownies as my glass pan cooks the edges more quickly (not that that's bad but sometimes I want them evenly baked). They turned out great and I've made a few more batches since then. I'm guessing it'll work well for other food baked it in also. I like this brand and have several other pieces made by them. They're reliable and worth the purchase.

I love this baking pan. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and bakes as expected.

When so many metal pans used today are skimpy and not well made, this pan is decidedly top notch in every way. No comparison to others.

There is a hard square cardboard label on every NordicWare pan. Turn the label over and there are CLEAR instructions for use. To all the idiots who put their pans in the dishwasher and their pan got discolored - LEARN TO READ. The good news the discoloration does not affect performance.I purchased 2 NordicWare pans after my 2 Wilton pans ( Wilton Recipe Right Non-Stick 9-Inch Square Baking Pan with Lid, Set of 2) ..pans competely and totally rusted out to the max. Easily the worst set of pans I have ever purchased.These Nordic pans are thicker and the height is perfect. I had a relative put one of them in the dishwasher (my bad - forgot to tell her) and it did looks a bit discolored but I don't care and it is not that bad)I use these pans to put frozen chicken breasts etc. in a countertop oven. . I don't like to use my large oven now that it is summer to keep the heat out of the house and so I put my countertop oven on a covered back porch and pop in frozen chicken breasts/frozen vegetables etc for a quick dinner without the heat in the house. These pans are perfect for that. I have cooked fish, etc in these pans - no problem and any grease is kept inside and never drips over because the pans are deep.I saw a photo of a hole in the corner of one of these pans (on a 1 star review). I can't help but wonder what heat setting she had to cause to melt or if she somehow poked a hole though the pan with a very sharp knife driven into the pan very violently. I have not had that problem and if I did I would mail the pan back to the company CEO and request a replacement. They have a lifetime warranty.

I love the Nordic ware naturals line. They are durable, so easy to clean, and a great value!!

I am a bit biased as I love Nordic Ware items, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy this pan was when I received it.Extremely high quality and works fantastic. Used it so far on cornbread and cakes with zero issues.
