I bought the gloves and the socks for my husband. We live in the woods. He is always outside and the woodticks easily find him. With the socks over the pants and the gloves over the sleeves of the shirt, he is completely protected! They do not get inside!

While I'm sure these would help protect against insect bites, these gloves are very poorly made (inconsistent, puckered stitching), and an enigma where fit is concerned. I have unusually large hands for my size (men's Medium, generally a large or XL for gloves), with long, thin fingers. These gloves are both too narrow for my palms, and far, far too long for my spindly fingers, begging the question, who could actually wear them comfortably? A disappointment, to be sure.

I bought these to test out by lake , and used them along with a mosquito mesh protection suit. I ended up with 25+ bites on each my hands and zero on the rest of my body. So these are not great at stopping bugs. They got 1 extra star because they look nice and are comfortable to wear, otherwise it would be 1 star only

Used on a fishing trip. Good enough, slightly smaller (I have big hands) but no big bites and still had dexterity to tie fishing line. Should probably buy an extra set as back up. The gloves did not rip but feel like the could. Pack down to virtually nothing.

Puny. If you have a male frame that cannot be easily mistaken for female you will not be able to wear theses gloves. The fingers are disproportionately long and you might think... Oh, these are supposed to stretch. They won't. The seems split very easily the first time I tried to try (not force, but try) them on. I don't know what they were thinking going for "one size fits all", but given the material and extreme weakness of the stitching, they certainly won't.
