Pack of 8 AA Batteries 2800mAh High Capacity Precharged Ni-MH AA Rechargeable Batteries

got the EBL 8-pack AA 2800mAh rechargeable batteries, and I’m really happy with them. They come pre-charged, so I could use them right out of the package, super convenient. I’ve been using them in my wireless mouse, game controllers, and flashlight, and they hold a charge really well. The 2800mAh capacity is noticeable; these batteries last much longer than the standard rechargeables I had before. I also like that they’re environmentally friendly, no more constantly buying disposable batteries. So far, they’ve handled multiple charge cycles without losing performance. Overall, a solid purchase if you want reliable, long-lasting AA rechargeable batteries.

The batteries work good. I've noticed they are slightly bigger than normal batteries so they don't fit every device. I have a few devices with them and they work just the same and are easy to swap out to charge. My only other complaint is 1 of my batteries just dropped dead; no charge, nothing. And now I have a device that needs 3 batteries, but I only have 2 because 1 just stopped working. I'd buy extra if you want to avoid having some missing batteries because of that. UPDATE: I've changed my review to 5 stars from the original 3 for the excellent customer service and replacement batteries. They reached out to me soon after my first review and offered a replacement as well as an explanation for why they are ever so slightly bigger than normal batteries but should work just the same. Excellent customer service and would buy again when needed

I have been using EBL batteries for years and I totally trust the brand. The batteries are solid performers and have not failed me yet. Coupled with one of their bulk chargers, we are never short on batteries. A total money saver.

These batteries are slightly larger in diameter (by about a half millimeter or so) than other AA batteries so they may not fit properly into some devices. You'll need to be careful about what devices you put these batteries in because they could get stuck. I have a Maglite flashlight which other AA batteries (Panasonic Eneloop and Energizer Recharge rechargeable batteries and various alkaline batteries) slide into and out of nicely but these batteries brush up against the sidewalls and would not go in all the way unless you try to force them but that would make them very hard to get out. For other devices like remote controls that have larger battery compartments, these batteries can work well. Besides the size issue, these batteries seem to otherwise be good batteries that have a similar shelf life and performance to the Panasonic Eneloop batteries. EDIT: Initially I gave these batteries a three star review due to the issue with these batteries not fitting in some devices. Due to this issue the seller offered to refund me for these batteries so that is nice that they are trying to make things right. They also mentioned that they are manufacturing these batteries to the maximum allowed diameter allowed for AA batteries which is 14.5 mm according to the IEC 60086 standard. I don't have a tool that can measure the diameters that precisely but when measuring them with a tape measure and ruler they do seem to be right around 14.5 mm so it is possible that they may be within spec and that some device manufacturers (like the manufacturer of my Maglite) are making their battery compartments too small. Since these batteries may be within spec and I can't prove otherwise, I'm changing my rating to four stars now. It still might not be a great idea to be manufacturing these batteries that close to the maximum allowed diameter since it may cause batteries to get stuck more easily if batteries leak electrolyte, the battery compartment gets bent or deforms a little, etc...

Awesome rechargeables for the price. Batteries were already charged whenever I received them. Used them in a set of 2-way radios and they work great!

I bought these 2800 mAh NI-MH batteries to replace the 600 mAh batteries that came with my solar deck lights. With more than 4 times the capacity of the originals, I go outside in the morning, and the lights are still on. Great quality!

EBL is an excellent brand of NiMH rechargeable batteries! They offer some of the highest capacities on the market with an above average cycle count of 1,200. Their construction is of very high quality. The rated capacity is genuine and accurate. I have used my multi-meter and other tools plus my knowledge of batteries and electronics to test if these really are 2,800mAh and they are indeed pretty close to the stated figure. You can put your worries at ease - their claims of 2,800mAh is true. They are beautifully constructed of high quality materials and feel very solid. After having used these batteries many times in a very bright Maglite Mini PRO flashlight, I am very impressed with their longevity and capacity. They last much longer than alkaline batteries! Alkaline batteries would cause the flashlight to dim as soon as 1 hour after use, and fail around the 2.5hr mark (which is actually what Maglite claims). With these EBL batteries, the flashlight maintains 100% brightness far longer than alkaline ever has. Using the EBL rechargeable NiMH batteries, the flashlight maintains nearly 100% to 90% brightness for about 2.5 to 3 hours and will continue to operate for another hour or more (but at reduced brightness) until they need to be recharged. This is almost double the length at full brightness compared to alkaline, and almost double the total use time when including use after dimming begins to occur. Amazing! Unlike Alkaline batteries, these batteries will maintain their rated capacity even under high loads. One of the problems with alkaline batteries (which are typically 1,800 to 2,500 mAh) is that under high loads their capacity drops as much as 60% to 1,000mAh or less, and results in more wasted batteries. NiMH batteries do not suffer this same fate. They maintain a steady and constant voltage curve over the entire usable (100% to 20%) capacity. Testing with my multi-meter confirms that these EBL batteries have a very steady operating voltage curve under both high and low loads. I have also used these batteries in low drain devices and they last much longer than alkaline, and once again, in devices that produce light, those devices maintain full brightness far longer than alkaline. Alkaline batteries are really bad for the environment, and I am very happy to have made the switch to these EBL rechargeable batteries. Not only does EBL claim to reduce their impact on the environment during construction of their batteries, NiMH batteries are far less polluting to the environment once they need to be tossed and replaced. I cannot recommend this brand enough. If you're struggling to choose a brand of NiMH batteries, EBL is a great brand to consider. They offer a wide variety, are constructed of high quality materials that feel solid, and the rated capacity is genuine. They function very well under both high and low drain loads.
