I used it to hang up my solar lights so I didn't use it for like a study project but they held my lights up well.

I've had a big spool of this paracord for a few years, but hadn't really tested it's strength. It's been great for camping, and tying down tarps on windy days. But this past weekend, I used this cord to tie the front of my canoe down to my truck. And it held up, even when driving 80MPH on the interstate for 11 hours (Arkansas to Wisconsin). The knots held tight, and the cord held strong. ...even in rain.

I was skeptical at first due to some of the 1 star ratings and reviews about this product but I decided to try it for myself, upon receiving the product it came in a neat printed zip lock bag and came with a very nice and sturdy velcro strap. It was all one solid piece no cuts splices or anything of that sort and that could just be because I got the 50 ft, perhaps if I ordered 200 and above I might see some of the cuts that many other reviews spoke about. The product is very strong and would be a great addition to any nug out bag or to use for family hiking and to even just have have around the house. Definitely worth the money, I will be getting a bigger spool soon.

This was not like most of the "made in china" para-cord that has a hollow interior and is made and feels cheap. This is well constructed and good quality. Worked great for my main use. Made a brite on the swivel of a dog clasp and sewed and wrapped to make the end connection and finished it off with some heat shrink tubing (applied light heat only) and did the same for the handle and now we have a light weight strong and affordable lead for my Yorkie.Now Truckie can go on walks in style and and avoid the puppy police.

I like this paracord, good color and it's strong. I just returned from winter camping and the cord held up a tarp that was covered in snow. I will get more when needed.
