The chair is wonderful. I paid for a ce­rtain room delivery and then for connecting the back and seat and plugging-in.I have marble floors. NOWHERE THERE IS A REQUIREMENT FOR TH­IS CHAIR TO BE ON A RUG!!! Three legs were fine; one back leg scratch­ed my marble floor across two til­es.Contacted Amazon. Finally reached t­he correct person.She said she was the highest person con­cerned with my problem. Added I should have known the metal ­legs would scratch the floor.I c­ountered, only ONE LEG made the scratche­s; NO suggestions that CHAIR HAD TO BE ON A RUG! I expected Amazon t­o pay for fixing dents on my two mar­ble tiles. "One" Star is for Amazon­'s service. "She" said to me that Amazo­n was the Seller. Mr.Bezos,­ Amazon is a great company. Why this?

This Char is NOT one to get for a handicapped person. The lower Bar in the back is far to high up and not padded at all causing sever back problems that'll be far reaching. Get another chair unless this one is redesigned, it WILL be a problem for anyone that uses it.

I gave it four stars because the shipping seem to take a long time but I guess when you're making a big purchase as this that's to be expected? My grandma is in her 90s and it's not nearly as mobile as she once was you could not get in and out of a chair by herself. She absolutely loves this chair and seems to think it's comfortable. I haven't gotten it yet though. Because of this chair and only after having it a month she is able to get up out of the chair herself and grab onto her walker and also by herself is able to take her walker over to it and set herself down on the chair. It is giving her some of her independence back which is a big deal for her believe me. We are very happy with this. We also bought the care package plan which obviously you always want to do with something mechanical like this so be sure to buy it!

My Mother is 91 and uses a walker. She's 5'3" and 130 lbs. The chair is perfect for petite ladies or smaller men and priced affordably. The fabric is comfortable and does not generate perspiration from body heat. The lift motor is super quiet, barely audible, but slow as expected for safety reasons.

This chair was purchased for. a Parkinson's patient and he is very happy with it. The material is sturdy, it was easy to assemble and the chair goes slow as we had hoped!! No worries! Amazon you have a winner!!

This is a surprisingly good chair for the money. It works quite well, looks good. It is a little firm to comfortable to sleep in, and the arms are too low, (or the seat too high) for me to feel comfortable leaving my mom to sleep there. She could go over the side if she tried at all.

This is just what my 95 year old mother-in-law's caregivers needed. She can not get up by herself (dead weight) and it is hard on her caregivers' backs to get her up, even with a lift belt. This chair allows her to stand up on her own. So hide the controls!The chair itself is perfect for a small person. and very comfortable. It was super easy to put the back on the bottom and attach the power cord. We have found that it's safer to have it reclined pretty far if the caregiver has to leave the room and to hide the controls behind the chair.

Quiet operation, Nice Fabric, Not oversized and less than 5 miniute setup. For people that need the easer of getting up or for reclining . up or down operation. This was purchased for a friend that had a stroke at 94. He is doing well and this will make easier for him to get in and out of the chair

Very easy to assemble. Comfortable. Like the coffee color.
