This product does exactly as described.It arrives with an included battery for the scale, but make sure to pull the tab in the back so it can power on.What I really liked about this scale is that it has various measurement settings from ounces to grams and pounds.This scale fits really comfortably in my hands.I also enjoy the fact that the scale is small enough to fit in my purse or in a small compartment in my car. I highly recommend this scale to anyone for their travels :)

I had another larger travel scale previously, but this one is so much better. It takes up very little space, is easy to use, and is very accurate. I've recommended it to several friends/work colleagues. I travel internationally for work and this has been great when I have multiple suitcases and I need to balance out the weight between them. At home it is always possible to stand on the bathroom scale while holding your suitcase, but when you are in a foreign country you typically don't have that option and this will save you the headache of arriving at the airport to discover you have an overweight bag.

I need a luggage scale since I travel international locations at least twice a year. This brand is okay, but I think the handle should be bigger and more ergonomic on these things. When you lift a 50lb luggage, you want to have a good, soft grip that will not hurt your hands. The hook is sometimes stubborn to attach to triangle [to make loop].

Seems to be well constructed. Readings are suspect. I receive a different reading +- 1 pound for the same item each time I weigh it. It can be as little as a few ounces and up to a pound for larger items. When weighing bikes and parts, 1 pound makes a difference. For luggage it's probably ok. I would not purchase it again for my purposes.

Very easy to use compact luggage scale. Much more accurate than anticipated with easy to read backlit display will weigh just about anything you can hold up with it! Easily fits in your suitcase after performing its duties without adding any more bulk. A must for any frequent traveler! Much cheaper than any overweight baggage fee will ever be!

Better than I thought it would be. I bought this after forgetting mine in a California hotel. Much better construction than the silver version that is much thicker by another manufacturer. This item was also easier to read than I had anticipated, and better than many competing brands.

I used this scale to weight bags that had been weighed at the airport baggage check-in counter, and it was right on. It's easy to use, and lightweight so I can pack it in my bag to check weights for my return trip while on the road.

Fast and accurate. A much better alternative than trying to balance suitcases on the scale. Also use it to weigh fruit in buckets.
