Q: Will I ruin this if I try and switch out for different switches?

The switches are soldered on the keyboard so you need to de-solder it to swap the switches and solder it back. It does require a certain level of familiarity to avoid destroying the board.

Q: How rattley is the space bar?

not rattley at all, in fact it has a very prominent thock. All the stabilizers are very well lubed and satisfying.

Q: Is the PCB hot swappable?

No the PCB is not hot-swappable.

Q: do you know what the third light does, its next to the Scr lock and caps lock, its lit up and wont go away no matter what keys I press?

It's the numlock indicator, nothing important since this keyboard doesn't have a numpad.
